Directly in the heart of Lorne! Good room with free wifi for 100AUD - we stopped by in our way from Adelaide to Melbourne and were very pleased with the neat standard room - free tea and coffee and a fridge. a lot of restsurants around! Would stay here again!

We stayed here on a living social voucher for 2 nights. This place is perfect! I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

It has the best location in the middle of the strip. Amazing views to the beach (if you are lucky enough to get an ocean view). So beautiful waking up to the ocean right there in front of you. In summer, would be so nice to sit on the balcony and eat breakfast.

Rooms are nice and clean. Has an aircon/heater and dvd player. Was very happy with the condition of the room.

If you are deciding where to stay on the great ocean road, this place in Lorne is your best bet. Alot of nice restaurants & 2 large pubs closeby and a nicer feel than the surrounding suburbs.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with an ocean view.

We bought a deal off living social for 2 nights here and couldn't have been happier! They had booked out of the rooms for the deal for our preferred dates but we were able to upgrade for $60 extra a night which we were happy with. We got the best room (I believe). Right above the shops we had amazing views to the ocean, sunrise and sunset and a lovely room with king bed. Also chocolates, brekky packs and champagne (thanks to the deal) and there was even a telescope in the room! For $320 we were extremely happy! I think it would be a bit more expensive without the deal, but the location is A+++, right in the middle of Lorne with access to everything! I will definitely be returning!

This was our third time visiting Great Ocean Road, and of all the hotels that we have stayed in, this was by far our favorite! We had a voucher from livingsocial.com for 2 nights stay in an executive room. The ocean view was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in our room. We sat on the balcony at night and enjoyed the sound of the waves as the moon lit up the ocean. The front desk service was professional and very friendly, as was the room service staff. The room was very clean, even in the balcony. The only disappointing issue was the bathroom. It was a bit difficult to adjust the water to the right temperature in the shower and it was a bit hard to clean dishes as there wasn't a kitchen sink and I had to clean them in the bathroom. However, overall, we absolutely enjoyed the view of the ocean and our stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Executive Rooms have an amazing ocean view.

Stayed for 2 nights. Slept poorly on the 1st night as there was a noise/vibration (imagine a washing machine on the spin cycle) close by. The nose was regular but not continuous. Still it woke me up and was DEFINITELY not restful. I did ask reception the next day if the laundry was nearby and was assured it wasn't. Air-conditioning p'haps! But this is April and the weather wasn't hot. The 2nd night's sleep was fine as the noise was missing.
Chose this place as it had a view of the ocean and was within walking distance of restaurants. However, having driven around the back streets of Lorne, I am sorry we didn't choose somewhere else to stay as the trees and streets were wonderful. And, as the lay of the land rises, many of these places would have ocean views too.
About the accommodation: Adequate. Room service remade the bed and replaced supplies (towels, shampoo) on the 2nd day. The Internet is available but it costs as you have to join up - $6 for 60 mins or around $20-25 (I forget) for 24 hours.

Location is great and views amazing if you are lucky and get a room beach facing, but the rooms desperately need renovations. Mainly when they charge $170 off season just to sleep some hours. The position is a perfect, step out to restaurants, walk over the road and you are at the beach. The accommodation is acceptable, beds hard, shower/toilet small. No access to satellite tv, so couldnt watch foxtel sports...Room service was basically do it yourself, so have to go down to reception for extra towels, milk or coffee..Room not serviced if you dont tell them.. Would never stay there again..:(
