The property has excellent beds, excellent shower, excellent internet, excellent food, excellent beverage and a superb wine list, such a great experience all round. I highly recommend this property for both business or leisure.

Stayed here a few times lately.

Always a pleasure; from the staff to the room, from the beer to the food.

I was a little reluctant to try this place out based on criticism of the breakfast, but every time I have eaten in the restaurant, I have found the variety to be outstanding. It is not usual for buffet breakfast to include purée foods on smoked salmon and cold meats, along with the usual trimmings on bacon, tomato, mushroom, has browns, pancakes etc etc. Plus for $19.50, it's a steal compared to the Novotel that charged me $29 (ridiculous I know!)

The team as a whole deserve a big congratulations on providing some of the best service I have ever experienced in Melbourne. I will be back

This was a pleasant surprise. We stayed in a 2 bedrooms suite and what I enjoyed the most was the quality of the beds: you can really get a good night sleep :) The suite was also very clean, which is always a selling point for me to return. There is a classic, yet pleasant feel you get from the room's design; and the magazines were all current :) We had breakfast at Best Western: the options were various and the food quality was great. Excellent location! I highly recommend it!

We stay here every couple of months when on business or visiting friends in Melbourne. This time we stayed in a premium king room.

The room was excellent, as usual: a very high level of comfort, cleanliness, quiet, facilities, amenities and technology. You could not ask for more.

Service was efficient and courteous (one small thing: we were surprised to see several of the reception staff chewing gum).

Breakfast is poor at this hotel. There is very limited choice compared to other hotels in Australia and around the world. The selection of breads, pastries, cheese and fruit is especially limited. You can order freshly cooked eggs, which is nice, but I would rather see a greater selection of hot and cold foods. I was surprised to find that the bread is frozen and not fresh, I have never encountered this at a hotel before. And I greatly object to to paying extra for an espresso coffee. This is Melbourne, not New York!! Filter coffee isn't going to cut it. I realise the hotel is part of an American chain (which could also explain the gum-chewing staff) but still... I have never encountered a hotel breakfast anywhere in Australia or Europe where you have to pay for a latte! It is the small things like this that can easily stop you from recommending a hotel to friends and associates.

This is the third time we have stayed in this hotel, which opened 2012. It has the feel of a quality inner city hotel but is located in the inner eastern suburbs, close to schools, public transport, Kew Junction shops and restaurants and so on. We have stayed in their premium king suites ($179 inc. parking) each time. Good beds, big TV screen, some rooms have big balconies, quiet, private. All around good deal for Melbourne.

Room Tip: West facing rooms may be hot.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality fit, services and cleanliness of this hotel. It has a classy understated modern decor that will not age as quickly as others. The room has a very comfy bed with free wifi, high end entertainment unit and thoughtful selections of current magazines. The hotel gives a 5 star feel and quality with very competitive rates. We stayed at Adina in South Yarra for a week prior to our stay here, and were totally underwhelmed by the experience. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed for 4 nights in a one bed spa apartment (room 206) 26/12 - 29/12 with a full size single bed in the living area for our 19yr. Both the bedroom and the living area have large flat screen internet tvs. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The apartment was made up daily and spotlessly clean. A nice touch were the brand new magazines (4)& the fabulous toiletries provided (e.g. schick shaver, toothbrush with colgate toothpaste and shampoo and cond. that you could actually use! ) Gym was spotless with brand new equipment. Breakfast choice amazing , free range eggs cooked to order 4 different sausages, 7 breads, muffins, crossiant, pancakes, fresh fruits, different yoghurts & usual hot items, promptly replenished as required I There were many items provided that are not normally found in a lot of Aus buffets e.g. smoked salmon, black pudding - . Lovely waiter in the breakfast area. Front desk staff were excellent, Robert especially for his insight on overall Melbourne, and for explaining the internet t.v... We took advantage of the valet park for the car and used the tram - box hill line - right outside the hotel for travelling to city centre, southbank and cricket. (approx 20 mins) LOVED our stay, hope to book for the cricket next year!!! & will definately stay here again!!
