“Yummy food, will come back again.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

Delicious food, and great service. The place also has great ambiance. The sashimi platter was very nice. Also, another favourite was the skewer set. The tempura is also certainly different. The apple crumble was just wow. Overall, a lovely place to have a meal at. We will come back again.

“Best sushi & sashimi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

We went here for a quick bite after the MotoGP and were very surprised by the nice atmosphere but most importantly the food. We had the sushi & sashimi platter and it was delicious. Best we ever had. The staff was very friendly too.

“Outstanding Japanese Restraurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

We dined at Youki's last night. It was a Tuesday night after the Grand Pix weekeend so we expected it to be quiet but the place was buzzing with customers. It is a very comfortable restaurant with plenty of room and great Japanese decor. We ordered the set menu (7 courses) from the Tapas menu, plus a Sake tasting tray so we could get to try everything. We were not disappointed with anything. All of the offerings were outstanding. The service was very efficient and friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. Overall it was a great dining out experience.
We will definately return in the not too distant fture.

“Great Japanese food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

This is a great place to go and have traditional Japanese food! Ok, for some it may be out of the way, situated on Phillip Island but, if you are there for a weekend, holiday, or whatever reason, try it out, it's worth it!
The Miso soup brought back memories of our time in Japan in 2010. We also tried several other dishes which were, not only very well presented but also very tasty.
As well as a restaurant (opened about 12 months or so ago), there is also a Take Away place not far away.
Sayuri was the prefect hostess, making us feel very welcomed as all the staff did. You can see the chef and his assistants preparing the meals. It is also quite obvious this restaurant will be popular with Japanese, judging by the number of people from the Japanese and other Motor Bike teams down at the Island for the Australian Moto G.P.
wish we had tried more of the varying dishes! One thing I do suggest you try for dessert like we did. We asked for the flourless chocolate cake and with it, green tea ice cream. A wonderful combination! Green tea ice cream? Yes, fantastic!
I also give this restaurant a couple of other big plus's in that it provides gluten free and vegetarian meals and caters for Disabled Clientele.
There is outdoor seating but not sure if one can eat there as it wasn't opened due to the wild, wet and cold weather whilst we were there last night (17th October).
