“OK for family dinner.”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We ate here last night with the kids and it was ok. Confusion from staff re "specials of the night" when ordering and most listed desserts not available.
Food was fine. Usual RSL fare- roast of the day, Parma etc. Kids menu available and small play area.

We had such a busy week last week that we literally ran out of desserts and were awaiting delivery which is such a shame, as there are some wonderful sweet treats to enjoy after your meal. We hope next time you visit, you will be able to try our dessert range.

“Not your average RSL”
Reviewed January 8, 2013 via mobile

Booked online for a family of 3 for a spot near the play area. When we arrived, we had been seated outside, however the waitress picked up our request from our booking, and placed us near the play area.
We ordered a 250g ribeye, garlic prawns, and a kids schnitzel. The ribeye was cooked to perfection (medium rare), the garlic prawns were nice (not the best, but still enjoyable) and the kids schnitzel was a really large size, and our son didn't get up and down or play up throughout the meal, which would usually mean its good!
The play area is quite small, and suited to young kids only, but I don't have any complaints as there are not many RSL's that cater for kids.
The venue is new, clean, affordable and family friendly.
We will definitely be back.

“Great quality food with excellent service”
Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

A large venue with the ability to cater for all needs. Food was excellent and staff were very helpful in ensuring I was able to get a gluten free vegetarian meal. Highly recommended, make sure you book as it is always busy!

“Great for seniors”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

I took two elderly people for several meals there, as great cheap food for them avail lunch and dinner Mon to Fri. I think it was only $10 for the roast, or fish and chips or a few other options. Soup $2 and dessert (only 2 simple options) also only $2.
Always busy over Christmas so we booked a table every time. Very long wait if you happened to arrive at a popular time.

We are happy to read that your guests enjoyed their Seniors meals - our Executive Chef is keen to ensure that we offer good value for money and quality meals for all to enjoy. January is our peak season and can be very busy. The easiest way to book during this time and of course, any other time is on line by using the BookaRestaurant service accessed via our website www.pirsl.com.au. “Very impressed”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

I ate here twice in three nights. I had the steak that was cooked to perfection. I also had the gluten free option for the beer battered flake. This was also excellent. Our group stayed in quite a while after eating and didn't feel pressured to order more or leave.
