A pleasure to deal with making this group booking, everything as it should be .Very friendly and helpful owner, good parking area, comfortable clean rooms. Short walk to Main St. We certainly would stay here again.

This was our stopover after a day trip to Great Ocean Road, on the way to Melbourne. Decent room facilities and cleanliness. Bathroom was pretty small and narrow but it didn't matter too much. There was also a laundry room with microwave oven in there. 5 minutes walk to the Apollo Bay town centre where most of the shops were closed at 5pm with a few dining shops and bars remained open.

The units are old and show it but are nevertheless clean.

There is no air conditioning and the room has only one window which leaves the room poorly ventilated and would hate to be there on a hot night.

The bathroom was tiny and the fitting very 60's.

Room Tip: Try asking for the more recently built rooms

Room very clean, had everything we needed. In a quiet location within 5 minute walk to all amenities :- shops, restaurants and beach. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

we picked this hotel as it was just off the main strip. however it turned out to be one of the nosiest. we woudn't have minded so much but we did pay a fair bit (jan prices are very high). room was tiny, walls were thin. there was a house party nearby which went onto the early hours. my wife didnt feel safe walking back to the hotel on her own at night and it was on the backstreets.
we might try again on a quiet weekday, but never again on a busy weekend.

Top apartments , nice & clean , nice big Spa & self contained to boot. Only 2 blocks back from the main st which is an easy walk to the Hotel & Food stores on the main st. There is an outdoor BBQ & also a laundry block for travellers who need it. Hosts Alison & Chris are a top couple & very friendly & helpfull with information on the surrounding area. Highly reccomend it to any one looking to be right in the centre of town for access.

Room Tip: A Spa says it all

My partner booked this at the last minute for a one-night, mid-week getaway. I was a tad disappointed to find it was a couple of blocks back from the main street (easily walkable though), so no ocean views. But even though you can't see the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing at night, which was nice. Also there was no traffic noise.

The property looked like a standard, single-storey motel. On opening the door to our room, I was pleasantly surprised to see a large corner spa bath, and in the far right corner, I discovered a well-equipped kitchen area. We didn't end up using the spa because we ran out of time. It's good that it's in the main room, as you could watch TV whilst relaxing in bubbles. There was also a free-standing fireplace, which would be lovely in winter (we were there in summer).

The room was light-filled, very clean, and well-aired. It had exposed brick walls, which I'm not a fan of; but it didn't worry me.

The bed was a teeny bit too soft for our liking; but not enough to disturb our sleep. The pillows, TV and bathroom were perfectly fine. There was also a 2-seater sofa and a little round table for two.

Checkout was simple, with a staff member offering to take our keys as we left the room. All-in-all, I would recommend this motel if you're after clean, convenient, comfortable accommodation, but not extreme luxury.
