we stayed here a while back, but only just getting around to writing a review so not sure if much has changed. we stayed on the ground floor. the view really wasnt the best. could hardley see the sea. our friends upgraded and had a really decent view of the sea. the rooms were nice and clean. the kicthenette had everything we needed although you are so close to town you dont really to do much cooking. i would probably think of staying here again if the price level was reasonable.

Room Tip: if you want a view you MUST upgrade to the 2nd floor

Hi,
we stayed in a ground floor room (no.2) for three nights which was under the stairs and close to the bins and laundry, therefore it was noisy. The room itself was nice however the walls were so thin we could hear the next rooms toilet, shower and in some cases what they were up to at night.
Overall I was dissapointed with the accomodation on checking in the office smelled of cigarette smoke, however it was close to shops, beach, etc.

Room Tip: Suggest you get an up stairs room close to the end of the complex.

Spent three nights here. It was a studio apartment with two comfy beds. Kitchenette area had low bench tops maybe suitable for wheelchair users? Whilst standing, I found I had to watch that I didn't it my head on the low rangehood when using the kettle. The fridge was very small and low. The disabled bathroom had great matting and there were rails by the toilet and shower. The fixed shower seat with legs was very small but ok for my needs.

Although there is not a sea view from the room, the sea can be seen from the outdoor setting. As I don't spend much time in a motel room, this was alright. Being slightly off the main road, it was a quiet location. However, if you have upstairs neighbours, you can hear them moving around.

There was a dedicated disabled park outside the room, which was in a corner.

Having stayed in Apollo Bay elsewhere on a number of occasions, this is the best motel I have found for my needs.

Room Tip: Disabled room was fine but if you can manage many stairs with luggage, maybe an upstairs room with b...

We were a party of 5. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and had a wonderful dinner time with our family. The grocery store "Foodworks" if I'm not mistaken is within 5 mins of driving from the hotel. The only thing that's a bit strange was the Bathroom DID NOT have a lock. So we had to make sure we knock befor or made an agreement that if the door is close, then someone is in. Overall, we had fond memory of Apollo Bay.

We had a two bed upper unit with one bathroom. The stay was for just one night but was OK.
there was free wifi but you had to go out on the landing/stairs or on the patio to get access.
There was a view from the patio which was nice, except for the power/telephone pole that blocked the nice views. Ugh.
Lots of seating in the living room and a small kitchenette so we could make breakfast and coffee.
Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

I guess it was popular as it is the last hotel in Apollo Bay on the last street. Which did tend to make it a bit noisy while people were still driving past looking for accommodation.

We had a 2nd floor executive room after looking a a lower room which was offered but smelt of cleaning products.

Still with the 2nd floor room there wasnt a great view of the sea.

The room was clean and comfortable with some cooking facilities provided.

The bathroom was equipped with shower over the spa and vanity unit. But we thought it strange there was no shower curtain so the floor was wet after showering. The items provided in the bathroom were all cheap, such as toilet paper soaps and shampoos etc.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found it fitted our needs perfectly. A small kitchenette was sufficient for minor cooking when we didn't feel like trying out one of the many eating establishments in Apollo Bay. We were on the ground floor and had a small table and chairs outside the door in the lovely garden full of native plants that attracted many birds. The beach is a short walk away, as is the town.

Room Tip: Ground floor is good if you want to sit outside in the garden. Upstairs probably better for views...
