Spent 2 glorious days at Falls River, the location, privacy, nature at it's best, the indoor fireplace, outdoors hot tub, outdoors fire!! Did I forget the waterfalls!! Hang on, what about the hospitality, comfortable bed and the rest?
We want to live there permanently.
Cabin is very well maintained and super clean. Bush setting is idyllic and out of sight of any other person or building.
Perfect in all ways for a very comfortable, spacious and well set up and equipped self contained get away.
Thank you for another wonderful stay at Falls River, this was our second visit and we will definitely return again. We made some day trips to Liffey, Montezuma and Westmoreland Falls during our trip, but the falls waiting for us when we returned to the cottage each afternoon remain our firm favourite.
On arrival, we couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces as we carried our belongings across the deck past your stunning waterfall. We loved the thoughtful touches: fireplaces being set, provision of dedicated utensils for the barbeque and pizza oven, fresh bread and delicious scrolls. The accommodation is well appointed, in particular the outdoor spa is very welcome after returning from a day's walking.
This hidden gem is the best place you will ever stay. It is secluded and private, surrounded by lovely natural Tasmanian forest and fronting a spectacular river and waterfall. The Cottage itself is charming and full of character, and the information folder for guests gives great insight and description about the lengths the owners have gone to, to create this magical hideaway. The owners have provided everything you will need to enjoy your stay, and the outdoor living areas are a highlight with a pizza oven, bbq, and outdoor setting available for your use. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and hot tub which helped to accentuate the tranquil, restful ambiance that we were looking for. The only thing that could add to the enjoyment of this place is a 2nd bedroom do that you could share the experience with friends. You will not regret staying here, just make sure you shop for food before you arrive, because once you get here, you won't want to leave.
