With a great buzz and atmosphere, this place is worth a drive to get to. Although the menu is classic fry ups, burgers etc, its the nostalgia and amount of items from the period really get everyone at your table talking and remembering times past.
For those not from Tasmania, this is as good as it gets in Tassy as far as burgers go. Just ask for it to be cooked well, and you wont be disappointed. For those who operate take aways etc in Tassy....come and taste what you should be making ! No frozen Frisbee meat patties here...no giant nuggets of wobbly meat either !

This place is great for real food, like a great burger accompanied by a blue heaven malted. I have not had fantastic food like this since I was a paper boy in the 60’s.

We had lunch at the diner today and had a fantastic experience, I had a spider which took me back to my childhood followed by a " chicken big block burger and fries" which was very fresh and tasty. We look forward to going back to this wonderful timewarp !!

unfortunately for these guys the only real thing they have going for them is the funky, quirky and interesting memorabilia they have all over the place. The burgers were very bland and had super soggy lettuce (I had the big chicken and he had the route 66 steak burger), we also ordered chips that were greasy and lacked salt or seasoning. It was a real shame as we had high hopes from the décor.

This was the second time I had visited this diner and it's still got it.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is delicious.
Just go grab a milk shake and check out the fantastic displays and you will feel like you walked into a scene from Happy Days.
