We asked locals where to get the best coffee in town and they recommended the Deloraine Deli, and they weren't wrong! The weather was cold and wet, but the atmosphere in the Deli was warm, welcoming and lively. A great range of produce and they also catered for people with dietary issues. The menu was imaginative, and the food was terrific. Definitely a highlight in our Tassie trip. I've already recommended them to a number of people! Sheryl

This was our second visit to Deloraine deli (first visit was a few years ago). A part from the waitress forgetting the salmon with our brekkie, we have very nice meals and they also catered gluten free (big plus for that!). Nevertheless it was a clean, very friendly place and we felt very much as if we were back in our favourite café in Fremantle (on the other side of the state!).

Randomly stopped here on the way through and almost overwhelmed by the variety of lunch options. Picking the turkey baguette and the special of the day 'Chicken burger/bagel' we were impressed by the generous serves, taste and quality.

Service was quick and very friendly and we could understand why there were so many people dining there.

Definitely the place to stop for lunch in this part of Tasmania!

The Deli was recommended as the best coffee in Deloraine. It was certainly expensive at $4.50 for a regular cafe latte that was almost tasteless. If this was the best coffee in Deloraine, I'm glad I didn't try any of the others. We had a dry and crumbly biscuit thing with the coffee and it seemed a bit stale. My advice would be to head to the next town or wait till mid-morning when Restaurant Red opens!

Thanks for taking the time to give feedback. We are very sorry you had such a negative experience with us. Our standard latte is obviously milky but it certainly shouldn't be weak. We aim to always maintain our standard but obviously we are human too! We only wish you had spoken to us on the day so we could have made you the coffee you really wanted! We pride ourselves on making coffee to your order. We take your feedback very seriously and will continue to aim to provide the perfect coffee for all our customers...
