Wonderful staff who managed a discount for 4 adults and 4 kids. The ride on the tractor was great as well as getting up close and personal with the animals. Staff were fantastic and even put up the the idiot woman who tried to pat the head of a devil..

“We took our dutch relatives and were very impressed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

The native wild life birds devils snakes are all up close and personal suggest you take some lunch and enjoy your surroundings , they are also caring for a couple of badly injured wedge tail eagles the size of these birds are amazing, you can also buy pellets and feed some of the animals you become instantly popular with the wild life

“A great zoo!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

I really enjoyed this zoo and it's only a short drive from Bicheno. The keepers really know what they are talking about and clearly love the animals. Patting both devils and wombats was a highlight and the walk through bird and wallaby enclosures were great. I imagine little kids would love it. Definitely worth being there for the devil feeding. All in a great, natural environment.
