After a long day at Freycinet and heading to Launceston the next day, we were glad to have stopped over at this smallish but neat motel. Nothing special, but lovely staff who looked after us well providing great dining recommendations and attending to some small issues in our rooms promptly and helpfully. The beds were not the best we have encountered, and there was some noise - mainly from the adjoining rooms. However, the price is right, there is convenient parking, and welcome tea and coffee facilities.

The appearance of the gardens is nothing like the website photos - gardens looked sadly neglected and suspect this property has changed hands. Doona had a stain on it, towels frayed, someone else's boots still in the room indicating lack of thorough cleaning and rusty fittings in bathroom. Room and bathroom good size but felt ripped off when compared to prices in Hobart for far far superior accommodation. I dislike leaving a negative review, however having responded to the questionnaire from owner - which was ignored, feel others maybe disappointed if, like us, they were expecting four star accommodation.

The family running the motel are very friendly. Our room was clean with a double and single bed. Recently renovated to a reasonable standard. Close to town and access to a guest laundry which was good for us at this stage of our holiday. There is room for improvement in the quality of beds and bedding.
