Arrived in Kingscote on Friday and decided that we would head to the pub for dinner ... called in there in the afternoon for a drink and lucky we enquired about a booking for dinner as we got the last table. A lot of people were crammed into a relatively small space but it wasn't uncomfortable and the service was pretty good. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our meals. The main problem with the pub is that there is nowhere to really just sit and have a drink ... all the space in the main part of the hotel was taken up with tables for dining. The sports bar left a lot to be desired and looked like a completely different pub. All in all though, would definitely recommend this pub for a meal - but to be on the safe side, would suggest making a booking rather than just turning up (especially on weekends).
