Fabulous two night stay in the Clare Valley made all the more enjoyable by two restful nights sleeping in Brown's House. Upon arrival welcomed by Jasper the Labrador who is adorable. Welcoming music playing on the stereo. Cosy open fire burning away. The two bedroom, well appointed cottage has all the conveniences of home, including generous breakfast provisions. Plenty of information provided about the property and Clare. Books, magazines and games to pass the time. DVDs and CDs if required. Everything from reservation to departure was too easy. Great base from centre of Clare, 10 minute drive away if that.

I spent two wonderful days at Brown's House in the Clare Hills in October. The century old house has been lovingly restored and renovated to reflect the era but with the comfort and amenity of today. Host Gail has left no stone unturned in relation to the comfort of her guests with wonderful comfy beds, fabulous bathroom and living areas and a breakfast feast in the fridge.
Adjacent to historic Boconnoc Park homestead, Brown's House is set in a fabulous and sprawling garden, open to the public in the Open Garden Scheme in 2013. Close to Clare's wineries and restaurants, Brown's House is the ideal and ultimate spot to unwind and also enjoy the Clare Valle.
