Great location on the beach. We ate the twice 26/12 and 31/12 and both times had a good experience. Service was good too

It's amazing how such places get away with charging $25+ for mains for average food and poor service. We went to this place for dinner - it cost close $100 for 3 mains and a couple of cocktails. We ordered the lamb shanks and chicken parmigiana, which didn't taste great. The sauce in parmigiana did not taste fresh - there was absolutely no flavour and tasted more like plain passata sauce. What really bothered us though was the poor service. Except for one person, the rest of the staff didn't really seem to care - they had a new person who didn't understand simple request and kept deferring to other staff for help. They forgot one cocktail order and we didn't get an apology.

Your money is better spent elsewhere.

The bruschetta is divine!!! We ordered one dish… then a second. All of the meals were wonderful - tapas, seafood, salads. The service is very good and the waitstaff checked on us but didn't hover. Can't say anything about the desserts as we were totally stuffed. Enjoy!

This pizza place was very convenient for us as we stayed in a vacation apartment right next door. And that's probably the best thing to say about it as the food is just ok and the service rather disappointing.

On a busy Saturday night we ordered take-out pizza. I expected a wait time so I came back for pick-up 45 min after ordering just as instructed. However, the pizza was not ready and instead of the additional 5 min wait time I was told to expect, I ended up waiting another half hour standing in a crowded hall way. Wasn't asked once if I wanted a drink and so I had to hunt down a glass of water to make the wait bearable. The pizza came eventually - and was partially burnt.

We went back a couple of days later on what we thought would be a quiet night. It wasn't as busy but we still ended up waiting quite some time to place our order and again to get the food. The food was fine, decently prized for Trinity but nothing memorable.

We are locals who have taken several lots of visitors to Chiantti's Pizzeria as well as had take-away. Like other local people we like to showcase local establishments but taking people to this now embarrassing. The quality of the food is inconsistent and the service is always poor. On one occasion we ordered garlic bread with our meal but it never arrived. When we went to pay we mentioned it but were spoken to rudely and made to believe that was our fault because we hadn't repeatedly requested it. On another occasion we ordered takeaway pizzas and upon getting them home we discovered they were burnt and mostly inedible. We chose not to complain as the restaurant was very busy and we took pity on them. Tonight we took visitors to the restaurant and ate in. We ordered garlic bread which arrived at the table significantly burnt around the edges. The pizzas arrived and they were lovely until the rain arrived at a horizontal angle and made both us and the food very wet. No attempt was made to render assistance to us or offer to move us to an inside table and the staff were rude when we went to pay, which is not unusual. Every negative comment that has been made about this restaurant on Trip Advisor is not an exaggeration. Too many second chances have been given to this restaurant and it consistently provides bad service and inconsistent food quality. After tonight's experience we won't be back or recommending this place to anyone again. Word of mouth advertising is very powerful and this restaurant is lucky that it relies on the tourist trade and not local custom to survive.
