“Costa Royale Ticks all the Boxes”
Reviewed May 17, 2012

I was lucky to win a Holiday to Cairns thanks to the competition hosted by Costa Royale Beach Front Apartments. The accommodation included a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom top floor beach front apartment. We loved waking up to sound of crashing waves, and sipping on our morning coffee admiring the view. The apartment had all the conveniences of home i.e. comfy beds, kitchen, laundry. The rooms were big and the living areas spacious, my 5 and 3 year old girls had plenty room to move around and play, the balcony areas are big with lounge chairs and outdoor dining setting. Trinity Beach itself is quiet and the tree lined beaches are beautiful postcard perfect. We had a few restaurants, coffee shops, car rental all within walking distance. Costa ROyale is centrally located, it is close to Cairns city, other premier beaches like Palm Cove, also relatively close is to Port Douglas, Atherton Tablelands, the Crocodile Park and the SKyrail to the Kuranda Rain forest. Alicia and Craig were very welcoming always greeting us with a smile & offering friendly advice on the what to do an see, another big perk is that you can organise all your trips at Costa Royale.
Thank you so much Craig and Alicia we have every intention be coming back and staying at Costa Royale!

We were very happy that we could put together the facebook competition and we couldn't think of a more deserving family to have won the prize.. you were fantastic. Hopefully you will come this way again someday and enjoy this fabulous area.

I stayed here with my two Grand kids (7 and 11 years old) from 14th to 21 April 2012. The location is perfect just opposit the swimming area of the beach, jelly fish netting and surf guard. 2 mins to the bus, cafes etc, the pub and bottle shop are 3 to 4 mins walk away. Alicia and Craig the managers are very helpfull and nice. The swimming pool kept my 2 Grandkids happy alot of the time, there is also a BBQ next to the pool. The apartement was very big and well equiped with all you need for cooking, plus tv and dvd player etc. Its very safe and quiet at Costa Royal, a very good place to stay. For transport to and from the airport you can book in advance with Sun Palm transport $18 per adult and$ 9 per child, cheaper then a taxi who charge me $52 at 3pm,.

Room Tip: dont take the first ones on either side of the Moore St entrance as they are next to the rubbish con...

Thank you for taking the time to review us and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are happy the children made the most of the pool as I'm sure it allowed you to put your feet up.

Hopefully we might see you again one day

My Wife and I stayed there for 3 nights in early May. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with good access to restaurants and the swimming area.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious with everything you need. The place looked a little old but it seemed they were working hard to keep it neat and tidy.

The owners were great giving us advice on what tours were worth doing and what was the best local restaurants. They gave great service.

The place was really good value for money and much better than staying in Cairns. With only a 15 minute drive from the airport it was very close but much quieter.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed the location and our local restaurants. We agree that we are a little nicer and quieter then Cairns.. haha.

We are about 18 years old now so yes we do work hard to maintain the property and we are happy to say that we are having the building painted from the 21st - 28th may 2012 so will be nice to have it refreshed.

Again we appreciate the review and hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in the Tropical North.

Cheers

Stayed in a beachfront unit with my partner for 5 nights. Couldn't fault the place - spacious, clean, modern, well priced and AMAZING location! Right on Trinity Beach, which we thought was the nicest beach we'd seen in Queensland. Right next door to some lovely restaurants and bars (including one with beer taps right on the street which I liked!), and Cairns was only a short drive away too. Great aircon as well thank god... it was HOT!

The staff were absolutely amazing, we felt instantly welcomed and perfectly hosted. They organised a trip for us on the Great Barrier Reef which was really nice, caught lots of fish!

Am returning again this year, will definitely say here again.

Room Tip: Ask for beachfront for the views

Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed our apartments and your fishing trip. I see you found that little beer tap which pours golden goodness with great views.. it's not bad is it.

Will see you later on this year.

Our family has stayed here four times now and I must say it has always been a pleasurable experience. The apartments are large and always super clean. We always stay in a beachfront apartment, which has great views. The service is remarkable and Craig and Alicia are very welcoming. Trinity Beach itself is a fabulous little beach close to all you should do in Tropical North Queensland. Costa Royale offers value for money and that’s why we keep returning.

Room Tip: Beachfront apartments have beautiful views.

This is my second times to choose Costa Royale, their staff doen't seem a staff, it just like you stay in your good friend place. It feel like home. That is reason if I plan to go Cairns, it is my first place to consider.

Location is about 10 mins drive from airport, 25mins from Cairns city but just 1 mins walk to Trinity Beach. They have small shop around, or 2 mins drive to small shopping mall.

We was booked the 2 bedroom apartment with garden view room and they upgrade me to seaview room which is unexpected. All in house equipment, sofa, chair, LED TV, DVD player keep in good condition. I was booked Reef tour with discount rate in Costa reception although I understand it is similar price but they will give more comment then whatever you book in town.

Hi Jason,

As we are only a AAA four and a half star rated property we feel very flattered that you have given us a 6 star rating so thank you for that. We are glad you see Costa Royale as a "friends place" and hope that next you visit you feel just as welcome as you do now. Thank you for the review

We stayed in a fantastic three bedroom apartment overlooking Trinity beach. The apartment was fully equiped with a full kitchen, laundry, ensuite with spa, second shower and toilet, spacious dining and living room. The apartments are located within three minutes walk to the patrolled beach area, restaurants, bars, hire car shop. Trinity beach is a great location, 20 minutes drive to Cairns and just far enough from town to be relaxing, but close enough to drive to as needed, and there is a supermarket just down the road from the apartments. We would certainly recommend the apartments or townhouses to anyone thinking of staying around Cairns, and certainly a great spot for the kids. Big thanks to Alicia & Craig for helping book some activities and helping to make our stay memorable. Tony & Zoe.

Room Tip: 1,2,3 bedroom apartments & townhouses available.

Hi Tony and Zoe,

You guys were fantastic and are welcome back anytime. Congratulations on getting married and such a great way to do it... helicopter flight out to your own personal Sandy Cay on the Great Barrier Reef. We do hope you can return later this year as you promised with the children.
