We stayed at Nautilus for the Mooloolaba Triathlon.
The reception ladies werent very friendly and on arrival we suddenly had to pay more for our room than we were quoted.
The room wasnt very spacious and not exacly up-to-date but at least it was clean.
The two bedrooms share a bathroom that opens into the laundry and master bedroom, which isnt ideal. The fans all squeaked on every setting but there was an air conditioner.
At one stage, a man from the same number room on the level above us came waltzing into our room.... his room key opened our door! That was very off-putting.
The location is fantastic as its only a five minute stroll to the beach and shops however its a little more of a hike to get to any supermarket and bottle shops.
The pool area is amazing and although the pool itself is pretty cold, the spa was incredible and we used it lots.
Overall, this resort is great for families wanting to experience underwater world (its just across the road) or for groups of friends like ours who are attending the triathlon. I wouldnt recommend it for an extended stay or if you are going to spend a lot of time in the room itself.
Not a bad mid-priced place to stay.More
