“WOW!”

We could not believe our eyes when we stepped into this apartment - so roomy. I was travelling with my son and had booked a one bedroom apartment but were given two. Beautifully decorated and everything you could possibly need - washer, dryer, TV, DVD player, CD with i pod dock, well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery, oven, grill, dishwasher. We did use the cooking facilities quite a lot and the only other things I could think that may be needed would be oven gloves.

We loved the location, well maintained gardens, pool area and only a few minutes walk to the Esplanade. Having seen other hotels down there, I think the Osprey location is preferable just being that little bit away.

Out of the building, right and right at the traffic lights and you find Coles supermarket which was very handy.

Had a month's holiday travelling in Australia and can honestly say these were the best apartments.

Just back from a week in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast and so aptly named. Not a drop of rain and beautiful warm weather every day. Perfect for chilling out, destressing and absorbing the laid back ambience that is Mooloolaba. We stayed at the Osprey Ocean view Apartments situated at the Noosa end of the esplanade amidst lovely gardens. These apartments are perfectly situated on the side of the slope leading up to Alexandra headland. Two minutes wallk down to the begininng of the esplanade shops, restaurants and cafes of Mooloolaba. The apartment was very well appointed and well maintained with leather lounge suite, modern outdoor setting on the balcony looking directly out onto the Pacific ocean. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you needed and heaps of crockery, cutlery etc.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and the master even had a small balcony of it's own where you could hang your wet togs and towels on a thoughtfully provided clotheshorse. We were on the first floor and really our only rather minor complaint was a larger than average Alexandra palm which partially obstructed our view when sitting, but also lent some privacy. We will remember to ask for an apartment on the south side of the building and a little higher up next time.

Having inspected and stayed at other hotels in Mooloolaba we would have to say the pool area at Osprey is the best. Lots of space, sun lounges with plenty of both shady and sunlit areas, lush tropical gardens, palms and lawn surrounds with a large pool that has a shallow toddler section that then blends into a bigger adult pool. Lovely clean BBQ area too. You could pay double the price at other accommodations directly above the shops on the esplanade, but you won't find a better pool than Osprey". Unfortunately due to the other hotels' positioning of their pools this means either fully shaded in the afternoon or full sun with little shade all day and much less space and lounging areas around these pools.

Room Tip: ASk for a higher floor on Southside of the building for best view.

We have been going to Mooloolaba each year for some time and this had to be the best place we have stayed. Other times we have been in apartments in different complexes along the Esplanade - but found they could be quite noisy as each time the bedrooms were at the front. We had thought that perhaps choosing a place on a corner might be a bit noisy too trafficwise but the bedrooms were at the back so sleeping wasn't an issue at all. We had a 4th floor two bed apartment it was roomy and well appointed and suited our needs, Air-conditioning great! We were impressed by the well-kept grounds and pool area. We had guests from Melbourne for two nights and they were very impressed with both the weather and our apartment.. The weather perfect - sunshine every day! We will be back!

Our apartment which was on the ground floor was described before we went as having "limited ocean views" but the views were lovely! We appreciated the greenery around our courtyard which offered some privacy without obstructing our views. We were lucky that the weather was very good for the duration of our visit (5 nights) which undoubtedly coloured our opinion of both the apartment and Mooloolaba (we loved both!)
The apartment was spacious and well furnished. As the only daylight came through the patio doors and the apartment was long it tended to be a bit dark but as the weather was good we did not spend much time inside and there were plenty of good lights.
The pool was lovely and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub.
The managers were friendly, knowledgable and helpful but we did find some of the "Dos and Don'ts" in the instructions book a little unfriendly and offputting.
This is definitly a place to be recommended - but make sure you behave yourself!

After reading the great reviews here on Tripadvisor, we decided to book into the Osprey apartments for a week, with 2 adults, 2 children (9 & 6) and a Nana. :)
It was a very positive experience, right from the initial phone booking. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. The apartment was huge...just perfect for all of us, and the bonus extra living room in the middle of the apartment was absolutely perfect for the children- a place where they could watch what they wanted on tv and play with all their goodies collected from the various places we visited.
The apartment was lovely and clean, and the view was AMAZING! We especially liked having balconies at both ends of the apartment, so you always had a sunny place to sit. (Our visit was in August so the temperature and sun was just perfect!)
The pool was great..a little on the cool side for a wimpy Mum, but perfect for the girls and Dad!.
Although the road outside is busy, we weren't bothered by any noise. We really enjoyed being so close to the Mooloolaba cafes and shops, and yet far enough away that the 'busyness' didn't affect us at all.
The managers and staff were lovely...extremely helpful and friendly.
We would definitely recommend the Osprey...we had an amazing time away.

My partner and I arrived at Osprey Oceanview Apartments and were warmly greeted by the managers and shown to our apartment. The room was absolutely huge compared to some of the rooms my partner had stayed in on her trip to Europe recently. The room was fresh and well maintained, with everything one required at the press of a button. The room had an ocean view with sliding door to balcony overlooking the pool area and the sunrise in the morning is quite special. There are a number of cafe's and restaurants within walking distance of Osprey Oceanview Apartments, plus an excercise area not less than 50 metres from the entrance to Osprey which I enjoyed. Overall, a tick for friendliness, cleanliness, views, value and parking space

Unfortunately when I booked, the lady at reception became a little short with me and so it set a mood about the stay. I was advised there would be jackhammering in the adjacent apartment, which naturally worried me, however we were locked in, so to speak. On readisng many reviews, I expected a monstrous apartment, but to me it was just a normal size. We have stayed at Emerald in Noosa, in an apartment which was larger and Como in Noosaville also arguably larger, so I'm baffled why so many reviewers consider these such large apartments. We had also just come from a free broadband motel which should be implemented in every letting establishment now. The good news is, we did not actually hear any jackhammering, we did thoroughly enjoy our stay, the view is lovely (upper floor) and top marks for having very quiet airconditioners in all rooms.
