We stayed on the 7th floor in a 3 bedroom unit (4 adults and 1 child). From the balcony you could see the water but there is buildings in front (as expected when we booked). First avenue was quiet and you could easily walk through to shops and restaurants on the esplanade. Very close to Coles so that was handy. Mooloolaba is a great place to visit and the walk to beach is not far even with 4 yr old. Something to consider though, in the unit that we had, was that the 2nd bedroom did not have a built in robe or chest of drawers as per the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and management staff friendly and helpful. We had car park access for 2 cars.
I can also recommend 'the lounge' restaurant which is in the same street.

We organised our stay with only a couple of days notice. Lesley and Chris were very helpful, friendly and accommodating with our requests given that we travel with an special needs child. Ty for the service, the friendliness and THAT view. We will definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Seamark on First and cant praise the management of Chris and Lyndsay high eneough. We arrived after hours and Lyndsay made it so easy to check in and get straight up to our unit. We booked a 3 bedroom unit which was wonderful and so close and convenient to everything. We walked to our restaurant as said previously, everythinng so close, and came back to our unit and after dinner noticed the air con not real cold. Chris immediately came to our service and moved us to another room. talk about brilliant service. DON'T look at any of the other resorts at Mooloolaba as this is the one to go to. We will be back.

Room Tip: 3 bedroom is great comfort for 2 adults and 3 kids. Or if budget allows,,the penthouse is incredible

We have just returned back from 2 fantastic weeks at Seamark on First. The new management were extremely accommodating and friendly and made us feel at home from day one. We had a great room on the 10th Floor, next door to our friends, of of which had a lovely view of the ocean.
The only down side was the bed in the main bedroom. We are spoilt with a King Sized bed at home, so trying to sleep in a double bed was not so comfortable - but we made do and had a wonderful holiday anyway. We would definitely stay at Seamark again on our next visit to the Sunshine Coast :)

Room Tip: If you would like a view, go for a higher floor!

My family just spent 8 nights at seamark and unfortunately was not impressed.

We were on the 4th floor so very limited ocean view (our friends paying exactly same rates were on floors 9,10 with spectacular views).

The room rates should be reduced on lower levels.

The biggest problem with our room were the beds!!! The main bedroom had the MOST uncomfortable double bed we have ever slept in! The bed linen barely covered the bed and it was very, very uncomfortable! My poor husband woke up with severe back and shoulder pain every morning.

The lounges are in desperate need of replacement with cushions slipping down to the floor whenever anyone sat on it.

Another big problem was climate control in the bedrooms - there were no ceiling fans in the rooms and the main bedroom windows were unable to be opened sufficiently to get a breeze so the bedroom was extremely hot which together with the uncomfortable bedding made sleeping impossible. The air con in the living area cooled well but it never reached the bedrooms.

The louvre doors in the kids room are faulty and need repairing.

The kitchen was well equipped and fridge was good size.

The garden bed outside the main bedroom was a disgrace! Weeds 30cm high was the view from our room.

For the money we paid and comparing what our friends got for the same price we were very very disappointed.

The location of the hotel was excellent but the pool is extremely small.

When we informed the management of our concerns as we were checking out we got an unsatisfactory response.

It was lovely to see our friends but such a shame we were so tired from the shocking bedding to fully enjoy ourselves. Urgent refurbishment is required.

First time at Mooloolaba and Seamark on First – was not disappointed. Seamark is located one street back from the busy Beach Tce so you don’t get any of the traffic or wind noise. We booked a two bedroom fully self contained apartment which was nicely equipped and set out, the balcony was facing east and was lovely to just sit out and enjoy the views. Undercover secured parking was also provided.

The complex had a heated pool not large but good to swim laps if you had the urge, next to the pool was a large BBQ which was convenient and easy to use, there’s a small gym also.

Chris & Lindsay were the resort managers who were friendly and very helpful.

To access the main beachfront, shops, cafes, restaurants just walk through an arcade walkway just opposite the complex and you're faced with lot of choices, if you're after a reasonable priced and good breakfast eat at Ric’s Gourmet International, food and service is good. Coles supermarket is just two minutes away.

We would highly recommend Seamark as excellent value for money, superb location and well appointed apartments.

Room Tip: Higher floors would have ocean views.
