Throroughly enjoyed lunch at this restaurant - great curries and naan breads, you can really taste the spices and flavours. One of my colleagues had the steak and chips after this dish was recommended by the Manager on-site where we were staying as my colleague doesn't liked Indian food - best steak and chips he's had in years - and we eat out alot due to work.

Pricing very reasonable for the quality of food - although be aware rice is extra. However the servings are generous and we really didn't need it. Can only recommend you try it!

After having travellled through India and lived in Mexico, my husband and I approached eating at Indiyum with such trepidation. How would they blend the two cuisines successfully with only chillies as the common ingredient??!! After reading the review in the Weekender we braved our doubts and went for a lunch there - my birthday lunch so my choice of restaurant and this one sounded so intriguing. It would either be a big mistake or . . .??? Thankfully all the votes came out as ' a winner!' The owners were so friendly and inviting and explained the fusion of the two distinctly different cuisines. We went on GJ's recommendations and firstly tried the Indian version of the Mx Burrito - Bombitto Chicken Tiki. Presented beautifully and the first bite was surprising - delicious! The flavor was exotic, definitely a burrito but with beautiful Indian flavors, so well balanced. Served with fresh salad and salsa and Biryani rice. After cleaning our plates we then shared the Fajita steak with tortillas, wanting to continue the Mx style. What a treat! Again, spicy but different from the Bombitto, Indian flavors in a Mexican style, so rich, blended together deliciously. Tender stir fried beef and capsicums, onions, as well as the sour cream and guacamole spooned into fresh tortillas. The sauce was rich, so spicy and tasty - but not too hot. We were not merely satisfied but were both excited about the food. Harjeet and GJ have a winning combination in the food here. The restaurant is also lovely - pleasant ambience, breezy indoor/outdoor dining with colorful tables, chairs and decor. Fill in the customer review card and leave with a smile on your face as well as a full and satisfied tummy. GJ definitely has a good sense of humour. We are looking forward spreading the recommendation to friends, and to savoring many more meals in this delightful, friendly and Indiyummy restaurant!!
