My husband sometimes have dinner here when in Caloundra and have always found it to be very good. The seafood is delicious and the service is excellent. Highly recommend the place.

“Ten out of ten”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

We wanted to be seated near the breeze which was no problem, the lovely lady set the table with a smile and made us feel comfortable from the get go.

Service was prompt and friendly, our request to let the kids split a rack of ribs was accommodated without any fuss or quizical looks which is a refreshing change in an otherwise declining industry in which standards of service are dropping all too fast.

But not here, we couldn't have been happier.

The meal was exceptional the ribs were tender and tasty, the lamb shanks were first class with generous portions and the salt and pepper calamari was tasty, but let me tell you that the salad on the side was one of the best salads we've ever tasted, it was toasted macadamia nuts with coconut and fresh vibrant salad vegetables.

I really enjoyed the bruschetta which was again a generous portion and the cobb loaf lasted less than a minute on our table as the fresh yeasty smell lead to it being devoured by watering mouths.

Well done staff, you ticked all the boxes

“don't bother”
Reviewed May 17, 2012

we booked, but were given a dud table facing a blank wall, when lots of sea view tables were available - if they'd been cleaned and re-set. 35 minutes wait for the entree, $18 for 4 for small prawns. Those plates were whisked away & in the same minute our mains were delivered. Hubbies steak was inedible. Drier than dry. He complained, and they cooked another, perfect that time, but why, when they call themselves the best steakhouse in Caloundra do they serve rubbish? We prefer to eat our dinner's together, not 15 minutes apart. Value for money??? - you have to be joking.

“Great views and tasty meals”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

My wife and I visited recently for lunch. We booked the day before and scored a front table with beautiful views over the beach. The a la carte menu is not cheap and is comparable in price to good Brisbane restaurants. We selected from the special lunch menu which is priced more reasonably with an adequate selection. The establishment is targeted at meat lovers so I had a steak - beautiful flavour but slightly underdone. My wife had a chicken breast salad which she agreed was delightful. Limited wine list but still ok. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

“Breakfast venue to die for”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

Went to another place and got a bad vibe so pulled the pin and went to this place. Had smelt the coffee and bacon the day before and thought we would give it a try. Great food, and service and coffee! Got an outside table with views to the ocean. Well priced will be back there tomorro, or maybe tonight for dinner!
