We've stayed here 3 times here now and enjoy it more and more each time. We took our 10 month old this time and the close proximity to Bulcock Beach was great for her. The view is amazing and overall fit out of the unit is spot on. Loved the pool being in the shade in the afternoon. After spending the day at the beach it was nice to be able to relax in the pool and not worry about getting sunburnt. Great for couples and families. Could not fault it.

My partner and I have just returned home from a seven night stay in a one bedroom apartment. Our apartment was on the eighth floor which delivered amazing views, particularly of the sunset behind the Glasshouse Mountains. The hotel is modern, clean and staff are always willing to help with any problems or requests. The beds are extremely comfortable as well as the pillows, allowing a very good sleep. My only complaint is some of the crockery were in quite poor condition as well as the fry pan which made the preparation of meals quite frustrating.
Overall, this is the best hotel we have stayed in - it truly does feel like a home away from home. This is the second time we have stayed and we will definitely be returning again.

Room Tip: Request a high floor when booking

My partner and I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nites last year. Huge balcony overlooking Pumicestone Passage, Golden Beach & Bribie Island. Unit was compact, spacious bathroom and very well equipped. Outdoor pool could have been larger considering the number of units. Very handy to main street of Caloundra for shopping, cinema and markets on a Sunday. Boardwalk from Bulcock Beach around to Kings Beach and headland was nearby and lots of places to eat - takeaway or dine in. Bulcock Beach is patrolled and good for families, just watch the current.

Room Tip: Any room would have a water view

One of the nice ones, this hotel is new and sparkling clean. We had a 2 bedroom unit, both with clean clean clean en suites. Beds, lounge etc very comfy, noise levels not a problem and staff very friendly. Facilities were also super, only complaint was the pool was in the shade all afternoon (great if you don't like the sun). Staff were very friendly and helpful and the security fantastic (have to swipe to get anywhere). Loved our 2 night stay and will definitely return +++++++

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor and had no complaints at all. All rooms appear to have a view of the passag...

Stayed at the Monaco with friends for a last minute weekend away. The place was excellent. The rooms are spacious and modern with full kitchen and large fridge. The balcony we had was overlooking the water and we were high up so had a lovely view. It also overlooks the shipping channel so at night we would regularly see cruise ships coming past. Lovely breezes. The price of the rooms were very reasonable for what you got. Lovely pool area with spa, shallow kids pool and long deeper pool. Plenty of shade if you needed it. It was also protected from the wind which was excellent given it was a windy weekend. The Friday night markets are just below you on the esplanade and worth a walk around. There are also restaurants in the same location. You are also just near the Gelati store which sells some of the best gelati I have eaten. Dinner at the Blue Orchid is highly recommended. A lovely weekend away!!

Our family stayed in a two bedroom unit on level 7. It was the most amazing room and looked exactly the same as their website.

Right from the moment we booked with Emma, we felt confident our seven night holiday would be great ... and we were not disappointed.

Like other reviewers, I think we paid a good rate being it was school holidays.

The facilities are all great - the gym, pool area, the foyer of the resort - all clean and well looked after. The service of the resort staff is exceptional.

There are heaps of restaurants to suit all budgets within a three minute walk from the resort. We ate out each night and found the service to be excellent at every place.

We normally stay at Mooloolaba (this was out first time to Caloundra), but found this a much more relaxing holiday and you would pay twice the amount to have a room of a similar standard at Mooloolaba (and twice the amount for very average restaurants with poor service).

The location is great if you don't want to go to Kings Beach each day. Bullcock beach isn't really a beach and the fast flowing channel makes it difficult to swim at. So if a beach is REALLY important, you have a 10 minute walk or a short drive.

As a family, we like 4.5 to 5 star accommodation and this meets the mark!

Thanks Monaco and thanks Caloundra ... we will be back.

Room Tip: The higher room you get, the better. We had an end room so had views to the east which I think was...
