We stayed here over the easter long weekend in a 3 bedroom (unit 19) ocean view. We were 4 adults ranging in age from 35 - 72 and two children under the age of 5. Had absolutely zero problems during our stay. Received an early check in on the friday at no extra cost (and easter eggs!) . Very friendly building managers who gave a building info pack with the keys. The unit was huge and very clean with modern furnishings, a plasma tv, mielle appliances ( 3 toilets! ). We could hear no noise from other units even though we knew there were kids next door. What we were impressed with was the entire complex was very clean, from the gardens, pool and even the refuse area! The only downside I could see is that it's a couple of blocks away from the ocean, so if you're elderly or can't walk very far for whatever reason it could be a problem. We didn't find it an issue at all. Definitely recommend.

i stayed at mariners resort middle of november for three nights, even now i still cant believe what a lovely and spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment i had,

okay will start at the beginning,

booked directly over the phone with the site manager (quite cheap)

checked in the following day was greeted with a smile check in took a mere couple of mins then i asked a few questions, the lady (sorry i cant remember your name) was very helpfull and even told me to ring reception if i had any more questions, secure under cover car park, i was taking my luggage and suit out of my car when i noticed near the lift was a couple of trolleys so instead of making three trips i was able to load up a trolley and wheel it into the lift and into my apartment (very nice and thoughtful little touch) its the little things that makes life easier when on holidays that we appreciate and remember,

unlocked the door to my unit (unit 7 second floor) and my jaw dropped the living area is is quite large, stainless steel big fridge and freezer glass cook top dual sinks, lovely spacious bench tops the oven worked great and even a dishwasher!!!! in the kitchen (cutlery plates, saucepans baking trays, wine glasses cooking utensils just about everything u could ever want), queen size bed (comfy) in main bedroom with an ensuite (shower over bath) really big wardrobe and on a shelf in the wardrobe a small second tv in the lounge room nice big tv, dvd player and a mini hifi system, and then the balcony WOW to put it nicely it was massive 6 seater out door dinning table and 2 sun lounges, second bedroom had another big wardrobe and 2 single beds, washing machine and dryer this 2 bedroom apartment is more then a holiday apartment u could easily live in it full time, the apartment was immaculate since i work a second job as a cleaning supervisor i have pretty high standards and i could not fault this apartment at all congratulations to the cleaners for the very high standard of cleaning, downs stairs the pool wasnt freezing cold yet wasnt to warm, and the spa was a real pleasure for me,. nice and hot very relaxing, by the way pool water was crystal clear and very clean,

i have no hesitation recommending this place my expectations were well and truly exceeded, quiet spot far enough away from the beach to be peaceful yet only about a 10 - 15 min stroll to the beach, look forward to returning in early in 2010 but this time will stay longer,

i am sorry this is so long but i just had to share with everyone this wonderful experience congratulations to the management keep up the high standards.

One of the few apartments that is exactly what it says on the tin! Internet photos, show the apartment in its full glory. Its modern, spacious, has all the facilities you could want and is very centrally located for getting around on foot. We booked a two bed ocean view apartment. Lovely and spacious, all mod cons, wide screen telly, en suite to the master bedroom plus family bathroom, both with showers (the en-suite had a spa bath)

Had plenty of room for our two boisterous toddlers to run around and a fantastically large balcony which would have been used more if the weather was a bit warmer in the evenings.

Kitchen came complete with all essentials and more... even down to little tupperware containers so you could do a pic nic ;o)

Only down side to Caloundra, not sure if its due to being off season (we came in July 09 which is mid Winter here) everything is closed by 9.30ish so the nightlife is a bit quiet. Good job we are used to staying in to look after the kids. However even to try and buy a bottle of vino was a challenge for my husband.. everything was closed when he ventured out.

Good location, 5 mins walk from Kings beach, with its water fountain and boardwalk. And great walks from here along the beach front.

Would recommend and its only 15 mins from Australia Zoo or an hour from Brisbane in one direction or Noosa in the other

We booked a luxury penthouse & spa through Mariners website and were delighted with what we got as it exceeded our expectations. The apartment was huge and the private rooftop spa was absolutely awesome. It was a huge 6 seater that overlooked the city and had ocean views. Comfy beds, lovely modern apartment and the kitchen had a coffee machine which was a real bonus.

I had booked this as a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and when we arrived we were thrilled to find the managers had put a complimentary bottle of bubbles in the fridge for us.

The resort is lovely, quiet and really close to everything. We walked to the nearby local cafes for breakfast each morning- our fav was Cafe Mahalo. My husband loved his birthday getaway- we will definately be enjoying more special occasions there again.
