We went here for Sunday breakfast with four other couples. Great food, great coffee. A special mention for the Eggs Benedict!

We had a terrific night. It's not cheap but it is beautiful a la carte food and the staff were fantastic (in particularly Lauren).

Great food, pretty good service (the staff could be a little better informed about the menu, but they are attentive). A bit pricey but a really good place to go for a quality meal/special occasion in the mid-north coast area. Sort of 'Sydney-style' food, without the attitude.

We recently enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Boatshed. We visit regularly for coffee (best in town) but only occasionally for dinner. Our visit over the Anzac weekend coincided with the introduction of their new menu. Lucky us! The meal was exceptional, the standouts being the scallop entree and the duck main. We shared a couple of desserts between 4 of us but wished we had ordered one each! The standard of food produced by these clever young people, in a charming (though somewhat "rustic") little boat shed, is astounding. It was the best meal we have had in ages and the prices are very reasonable - certainly in comparison to anything of a similar standard in Sydney. The wine list is also interesting and very reasonably priced. If you visit in winter (and you should!) dress warmly - they do have heaters and roll down blinds to enclose the verandah but it is a boat shed, with most tables over the water.

When you drive up it looks like an old shed. Once wee walked in it was fantastic . Great service and great food , like wow food!
Service was fast . Good wine list and good kids meals . I noted some price complainers on here . ??? We had six adults and 2 kids incl drinks for $220 . $30 a head is hardly dear
