We recently moved to Tea Gardens and have been to this restaurant twice. The menu and the food are simply divine. You have to try the seafood mornay!
The prices are on the high side for such a quiet little town - we would go more frequently if it was more affordable.
Staff aren't very attentive, you often have to flag them down for drinks..
But enjoying a yummy meal overlooking the river of an evening is just so relaxing, and we even saw dolphins close by :)
We will be back again soon!

The best food and service and price in Tea Gardens or anywhere! This is the place to eat. I wish I'd found this place on my first night and not my last.

Some years ago we were regular visitors at this place and always wanted to come back because of the good memories. However... the "Fishermans basket" we ordered today was not as it used to be: the quantity (beer battered fish fillets, chips, calamari, some deep fried seasoned prawns and one scallop in beer batter) was sufficient, but the quality was very average. Some years ago we go a refined plate with less but better food including mussels kilpatrick and the like.
The ambiance is pretty much the same, but tables need a bit of paint or varnish - they look shabby. The deck outside is nice and offers alfresco dining with a great view of the Myall River and the Singing Bridge.
Staff and service was friendly and prompt.

My food my great! My husband wasn't keen on his, but overall good and wasn't too expensive. Train some of the staff a little better and it could be a better place. Will go back.

The restaurant is situated by the lakeside, with pleasant indoor and outdoor eating spaces. The menu featured a lot of seafood but there were choices for the non seafoodies. All of our party enjoyed their meals. I would return to this place
