Family Dinner. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We had a variety of Hungarian dishes and all were tasty and cooked well. Staff were only too happy to explain what to expect with some of the dishes and sauces. When prompted the staff were only too happy to engage in conversation about Hungary and associated issues. The Hungarian beer was the icing on the cake. All things considered we had an inexpensive and pleasant experience. No-one had the duck but in the words of one famous Hungarian (sorry he was Austrian) "We'll be back"

I arrived here with my girlfriend on Valentines day and the manager and the waiters were just brilliant, food was perfect, the dishes were delicious and did not take long.
We had starter: cold cherry soup & meat filled pancake, main: "Brassoi" (Veal paprika with potatoes) and pork filled with ham and pistachio. Portions were fine.
Strongly recommended for good food and kind service!

Good old-fashioned Hungarian cooking consistently cooked to a high standard and at very reasonable prices. Not the most exciting restaurant in Randwick but you won't go home hungry with a light wallet.

I have been there twice now and loved it both times. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. For a real treat go on a gypsy night with awesome live music too. Recommended things to try are the goulash and the heavenly apple strudel.

This is our 3rd time to this great little restaurant and each time we have not been disappointed.

Their chicken paprika is wonderful and their crepes to die for. My husband had a veal knuckle and it was so big he couldnt finish it but the meat was so soft and just fell away from the bone.

The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. Their bread with sour cream and garlic is the best I have tasted and I could sit there and just eat that all night. It is fluffy and the sour cream really tops it off.

It is worthwhile having a glass of the Hungarian wine which was sweet to taste and very strong in alcohol as well but a good wine.

All in all no complaints from us and we look forward to going again for some more great food.
