My wife and I stayed here for 17 days due to the fact that we had travelled to Sydney for my surgery. We searched online for ages for a reputable place to stay, and honestly this one was a gamble as you never really know what to expect when you book a room for the first time.
We have no prior experience with Quest apartments, so this was new to us. We were impressed to see that the building, upon entry, was clean and very professionally decorated. The desk was manned by well-spoken ladies who were friendly and accommodating. We felt like we were getting star treatment.
We had a single bedroom apartment on the fourth floor overlooking the local bushland. It was a beautiful view and the apartment was very clean and stylish.
The bathroom/toilet was very spacious. The bedroom was small, but comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with any manner of cooking utensils we could ever need (we went shopping at the nearby Macquarie Centre and loaded up on groceries). The living room area was spacious with a nice little balcony. We were given a deal on the Internet for $40 per week. We had pretty much everything we needed. The hotel can provide you even with things like umbrellas that you can rent for a small fee. We didn't feel that anything was overpriced or outrageous at all.
Our underground secured parking in the garage was fantastic. It felt safe and we didn't feel as though we may get mugged just going to the car as it is entirely enclosed and inaccessible to anyone not holding a room card.
The pool area was great and clean and my wife enjoyed a nice leisurely swim.
We dined at the restaurant (Atlantis) and it was average, but the service was fantastic. We even experienced a false fire alarm in which the entire building was evacuated - but the staff were pleasant and apologetic and it was good to know that they have a very organised evacuation procedure.
We had a small issue with our smoke alarm randomly going off in the middle of the night as well as the safe dying on us. However, both issues were attended to immediately and we had no complaints.
Our apartment was serviced pretty much daily with friendly and polite attendants looking after the cleaning, etc.
This place is also located only 10 minutes away from the train station which will take you anywhere you want to go. It was very convenient.
I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. If we ever have to return to Sydney, we will most certainly be staying here again.
