“Quirky Blue Mountains Retreat”
Reviewed March 24, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The appeal of Lindeman at Leura lies in its location. Peace and quiet guaranteed in this tranquil setting.

Lynn and Tim offer flawless hospitality. Their communication, arrival arrangements and the wine and cheese platter set the scene for a wonderful stay.

“The Perfect Blue Mountains retreat”
Reviewed September 23, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Words and pictures cannot describe the character that this place has. It is found in a beautiful bushland setting just a few minutes drive from Leura and Katoomba. Every detail has been considered by the owners, to make this a unique yet extremely relaxing place to stay. It's a couples retreat but with ample space for entertaining. Finishing touches such as the welcoming platter and even the bird seed just make it even more special. If you want to lock yourself away for a few days or use it as a base to explore the mountains, Lindeman's at Leura is the place to stay.

“Highlight of our trip”

Came to the Blue Mountains for a weekend trip with my partner and we wanted a break from the usual Hotel stays. Saw the great reviews for this place and didn't hesitate booking. Upon our first time entering the home we were blown away, a lot of work has gone into this place, and the outdoor bath really tops it off. Lynn left cheeses and wine for us, and really looked after us. We did all the usual activities that comes with visiting the Blue Mountains, but I would have to say our stay Lindeman at Leura was the highlight of our trip.

“Fantastic relaxing weekend away”

A lovely and relaxing place to stay. Very pretty and quiet. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We felt looked after and welcomed. Lots of lovely touches, for example arriving to flowers on the table, a bath bomb ready for a bath and also fruit, wine, cheese, crackers and chocolate. The ideal start to the weekend after the journey. It was so good to have a garden to enjoy. Everything you need is there and more. Amazing experience in the Blue Mountains, thank you Lynn and Tim for making us feel so welcome. We will always remember this trip. :)

“QUAINT, RUSTIC, COSY, PRIVATE, RELAXING”
Reviewed January 15, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We stayed for a two day getaway in this lovely little place. It was exactly as depicted in the photos and all the reviews I read did it justice.
A lot of work has been carried out by the owners to achieve a sense of "old", when in fact the renovations are quite new.
It is lovely that they have kept so much of the original house, not only in the dewelling itself, in the outside areas as well.
On arrival, we had wine on the table, cracker biscuits and in the fridge there was a plate of different cheeses, chocolates, fresh milk and other drinks as well. When I checked with Steve,
the caretaker, to make sure all these were indeed for us, he said of course and to help
ourselves to anything else that was there. As the owners were away at the time, Steve did a great job of making sure all was ready for us. We were even able to swap the wine for any
other that they had in a rack. The other bottles you could buy if you wished.
It is very "homey" inside, with lovely fresh lavender flowers in a vase on the kitchen table and
everything you need to cook with in the cupboards. Lovely large windows in the kitchen make
not only for a good view, but when open a lovely breeze comes straight through and as it was
very hot when we stayed, this was great.
The bedroom was cosy and when the morning sun came through the floral blind, it lit up like a stained glass window. There were complimentary slippers and bath robes as well.
At first I felt a little exposed in the bathroom, particularly at night, as there are no blinds. We
just lit the candle instead of using the light and it made a better ambience and there isn't
anyone nearby anyway. All else you need is there and the shower head is amazing!
The loungeroom is cosy and there is a tv, which includes foxtel channels. In winter the fireplace would be terrific.
The outdoor area is lovely too. There is a little fish pond and we got to feed them as well. Great
to watch them eat. I didnt make use of the outdoor bath this time, though I think it would be
great. Maybe next time.
You can just relax at this place, walk around outside in your pjs and not get ready to go out
unless you want to. Very private and quiet.
There is free wifi and there are laundry facilities in the garage. I must say my pet hate in any place we stay is a flimsy ironing board, with terrible cover and an iron with a burnt bottom. This place is the only one for a long time that had none of these. All were in great condition. Thank you !
We had a lovely relaxing time.
