I stayed in Leura for a few days this week with my teenage son and we ate twice at Rubyfruit. We would have eaten there on the third day as well, but the cafe is closed on Wednesdays. The staff were very welcoming. We both enjoyed the food very much. We had satay tofu wraps with garden salad on the first visit and mexican style wraps with rainbow salad on the second. The salads were very fresh and very generous. My son also enjoyed a vegan mince pie and I had my first milk-shake (vegan) in about twenty-five years. I would make a visit to Leura from Sydney just to visit this cafe again. Next time I will try to come over a weekend so that I can try the scrambled tofu with spinach on toast at Rubyfruit.
