We book accommodation for $105 per night with WOTIF which include full breakfast and we were concern that for this rate we can not expect too much. The location was great, lovely grounds, secured and close to Leura Village. Our room may need some update but was clean and spacious. The breakfast for the family was great most of it is that you really can not get accommodation for a family in the Blue Mountain for this rate!!!

We enjoyed the location of Leura Gardens Resort, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the comfort and furnishings and the pleasant outlook from our room and the absolute cleanliness. The resort is npow under new management-Waldof Group- and it seemed that there is an improvement since 9 months ago when we stayed in the hotel.Staff told us about various areas that are to be uprgaded over the next year. This will be good as we visit the resort for few years and prior to the new management take over in February this year there is quite q defenite change! The food served was good. We would be very happy to make a booking again at some future date. This Resort was recommended to us by a friend to us 3 years ago and we would be happy to do the same.

I stayed with two friends in early March.
We had a family room.
For us the price was great the room was very clear and prepared awaiting our arrival.

This hotels has changed had several times in the last couple of years and that is visible by all the different name signage. We got confused looking for it.
It has just been brought out again in feb 2011 by the Waldorf Chain and they have taken possession of what is actually a beautiful complex that has been neglected by it last owner.
They have begun restoring it and if the article in the local paper at the time is correct they are hoping to restore it to its former glory and increase the star rating.
The reception staff were very helpful and the include buffet breakfast was sensational.
I really do wish the new owners all the best in bring the place up to date and they have made a good start. I think we need to just given them a little grace time to make the leap required at the complex.
The gardener deserves a medal as the grounds are looking great as we start into Autumn.

For some where for dinner go to Silks in the main street of Leura but please book.
The meal was exceptional.

When you drive into the resort, it looks really lovely and friendly, and mum and I were really looking forward to getting our stuff into our room after a long day at the Jenolan Caves.
The lady at reception was not incredibly friendly, but there weren't any problems at reception. However, when we walked into our room we saw that it was actually someone else's room! It was clearly "lived in" with dirty baby nappies lying about and the bed unmade. We quickly walked out and back to reception where we did not receive an apology for the 'mix-up' and were just handed a new room key card.
Hoping that it wasn't going to happen again, we walked into what was a semi-clean room. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months, there were cobwebs behind cupboards (clearly visible) and in the corners of the ceiling. The room was dark and smelt of mould or damp carpet. The little balcony was nice, but I didn't want to sit with the spiders and cobwebs. The bed covering looked dirty, like it had never been washed, and I pulled it off the bed immediately as I didn't want to even sit on it! The toilet was clean, but both the toilet and bathroom was in desperate need of an update.
Wanting to make ourselves a cup of coffee, we realised that the 'fully-stocked' bar fridge had only one serving of milk with two beers, a coke, diet coke, and sprite, but no bar fridge list...Heading back to reception to ask for more milk servings, mum asked about the 'fully-stocked' bar fridge and what should be included as there was no list and we did not want to be charged for things we didn't take. The response was "We have no bar fridge lists, so don't worry about it. We won't charge you." Mum returned with about 5 servings of milk, while I refused to make coffee in dirty mugs with dirty teaspoons.
The shower took a while to warm up, but was okay, although we did find some stray hairs which clearly did not belong to mum or I.
Although the room was not in a good condition, the bed sheets were clean, and it was a pretty comfortable bed. Mum and I both slept very well ignoring our surroundings.
Breakfast the next morning was of low standard. Mum wanted Weetbix with warm milk, and when asked if warm milk was available, the 'staff' said no. Is it not possible to warm some milk up for your guests??? The Olive Tree Restaurant was run down with stale bread and rubbery eggs and terrible service from the staff.
Check out was another story... Again, and unfriendly staff member checked us out, and when I asked for a Compliments and Complaints form, she was unable to find one for us. Nothing was asked of our stay and how we enjoyed it.
None of the staff were in uniform, making it hard to know who was staff and who was a guest. The gardens needed to be groomed and overall maintenance is needed of the so called 'hotel'.
A $50 holding fee was taken from my credit card at check in, and a week later, I am still waiting for it to be released back into my account.
Although mum and I enjoyed our time in the Blue Mountains immensely, the accommodation was an extreme disappointment. The service was shocking and cleanliness frightning, and it is definitely overpriced!
Four star??? I think two!!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone!

We were privillaged to have our wedding hosted by Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort and their staff. The grounds were pefect. We had 100 guests and each and every one of them commented how amazing the venue was. We had canape's in the gazebo after our garden ceremony and the food was another high point to our guests day.
Several friends and family stayed at the hotel the evening of our wedding and we have not heard any negative feed back from any of them. The room we stayed in was well maintained, clean and comfortable.
No job was too big or too small for staff that assisted in making our day perfect.

Check in was OK however the room had TWO singles not the King we booked.
After telling reception they had the two beds 'pushed' together for us. Good location and a very peaceful nights sleep.
Word of advice: book your restaurant for a SAT night as the few choices there were locally were booked out of closed.
We ended up dining at the hotel restaurant - two staff that could use some personality and an average but otherwise edible meal.
We got we paid for and would stay again for sure.

We booked this hotel online and due a mixup we ended up one night here and one at the other Hotels in Katoomba (we paid $170 per night!!!). When we decided to stay also on Sat night we find this place on the internet., It was wonderful. It was a very foggy day and as there was plenty to do at the resort we really wished we could have stayed there... the dinner in the restaurant on Saturday was great The breakfast was pretty good too... we have friends coming from USA in a couple of months and we intend to stay there again. The staff were very helpful and apologetic at our misfortune at having to move for the 2nd night. The location was very central and next time we will arrange for a Golf package. The complex gardens are unique and the management were very polite and helpfull. The room was clean and of of good size.( the bahtroom may require some updating!!) the rate was a bargain $110 per night for B&B!!!
