I love this restaurant! The décor is beyond charming – all sorts of Art Deco bric-a-brac, beautiful art on the walls and an eclectic collection of crockery on your table – it’s like dining in an antique store minus the dust, plus mountain views. Don't get scared off by the photo on the website - looks nothing like it. The menu was somewhat basic - veal, lamb, rib eye fillet, duck, salmon on the specials board etc. The portions were huge and my veal escallops with a lemony sauce, rosemary potatoes and vegetables were absolutely delicious. We were welcomed by a friendly, smiling lady who had a chuckle at our excitement over the décor and the vibe of the place (It used to be a cinema.). The lady serving us seemed a little “over it” and wasn’t keen to go out of her way to make us feel welcome, but she may have just had a bad night, and it didn’t spoil our experience. I agree with previous comments to book a table by the window, if you’re planning ahead.
