I have been to the Blue Mountains a number of times although this is the first time I have stayed overnight and I doubt I will experience anything as good as the Windradyne Boutique for the price I paid. We stayed in the Gunnedoo Suite which was located upstairs. The Echo Point lookout from which you can view the Jamison Valley, and the Three Sisters is literally a stone's throw away, and the hotel itself had a very quaint and elegant feel. The host (Veronica) was very hospitable and generous with her time and, the breakfast was amazing (you have to try the pancakes!).

We will definitely book the Windradyne again next time we stay overnight at the Blue Mountains.

Too many rules to feel comfortable

Windradyne was the most disappointing part of our Australian holiday. We were greeted by 7 rules before entering including 'Take your shoes off", 'Don't touch ornamental tap', 'Don't drive on our garden'. If we had not paid before arriving we would have looked for alternative accomodation.

Another 25 or so rules awaited us in the bedroom including a verbal reminder to remove the ornamental pillows before using the bed and not to use the air conditioning at night. The most memorable rule by far was actually stuck to the back of a chair requesting that we did not sit on the chair because it was fragile.

The location of this property however could not be faulted. Across the road from Echo Point Lookout it provided lovely views & a convenient point for exploring nearby attractions such as the Three Sisters & the Katoomba Railway. I am sure that we could have stayed in this beautiful location in alternative accomodation and been made to feel more welcome.

When you are a guest of Veronica's you are made to feel special. Across the street from Echo Point - Easy walk to town. Centrally located to other Blue Mountain towns. The breakfasts are yummy and filling. The rooms are private and super clean. Staying here made us feel like we were in a different world. A truly wonderful experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We booked out all three rooms for our extended family for a single night during the week and were amazed by the effort that's been put into this B&B. The rooms, common area, service and breakfasts were all top quality. Not one of us had a bad word to say after leaving in the morning. The location (looking out over the Echo Point lookout) was remarkable, and given our inability to see the Three Sisters the previous day due to fog, being able to walk out across the road and watch the sun rise over them was brilliant (especially since the fog set in about half an hour later too). Heartily recommended to anyone in earshot.

What a fantastic location, with breath taking views you will be blown away. The whole experience is amazing. We were so happy with the service and the breakfast was world famous. Walking distance from the three sisters made for romantic walks at night and the eye for detail is out of this world. This bed and breakfast will keep a smile on your face for a long time.

Thanks.
