“Top value & great position”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014

In real estate they talk about position, position, position. Well Windradyne has it in spades, directly across the road from the main viewing point of the famous Three Sisters. But it doesn't end there. The hosts, Veronica and her husband are charming, the rooms wonderfully appointed in period style, and the breakfast plentyful, setting you up for a great day of exploring. We had a lovely weekend and highly recommend staying at Windradyne.

Room Tip: The larger bedroom with a view is directly off the dining room which is not great for privacy, altho...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights from 16th Dec - 19th Dec, as part of our round the world trip. What a fantastic welcome we had from Veronica, made us feel at home for every minute of our stay. This is no ordinary B & B, the place is immaculately clean and the attention to detail is impeccable!
The Breakfast is fantastic, order the evening before for the morning, you will not be disappointed, it will keep you going for the whole day! The location is opposite Echo point and the three sisters, absolutely stunning view of the Blue Mountains from our bedroom window, in the Gunnedoo Spa suite, also a great position for exploring the Blue mountains.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Blue mountains area, is it the cheapest place to stay? No... BUT it is by far and away the best B & B we have ever stayed in!!!
Thank you Veronica for your help and advice on where to eat out, Pins was absolutely fantastic as you said it would be.
Cheers Veronica.. we hope to come back fairly soon....Julie and Andy

Room Tip: Gunnedoo suite has great views of Echo point and the Blue Mountains, also a large 4 poster bed and l...

My husband and I had the most perfect weekend. Thank you Veronica for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. We will definitely return. The views are amazing and the bed was so comfortable. We woke each morning with the most beautiful view of the blue mountains.

It was 8 years since I last visited this B&B on a previous holiday to Australia. The standard has not changed and. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Blue Mountains.
Both my wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay, you are made to feel very welcome by both Veronica and her husband.
The position of the B&B is ideal for walks in the Blue Mountains being close to Ecco Point.
Would stay there again if visiting Australia and the Blue Mountains.

after a busy week in Sydney this was the ideal break from the hustle of city life. Veronica made us very welcome and provided valuable information for us during our two day stay. The views are stunning and there are plenty of walks for all levels of fitness. Little touches like tea, coffee and cakes available in the afternoon made the stay even more enjoyable and the breakfast choice and quality is perfect.

Room Tip: we stayed in the ground floor room overlooking echo point and although it is next to the dining room...

Fantastic view, beautiful property filled with antique furniture, and a delightful hostess in Veronica. We stayed in the Meenhi suite, with lovely cream and gold decoration. Romantic and private. After lots of travel in the past, this accommodation is one of the few that I would unreservedly return to. A real 'year after year' place, if only that were possible.

Room Tip: I saw two out of the three (Meenhi and Wimlah). I preferred Meenhi for feel and decoration but the...

The Wimlah room looks straight over echo point. The view at breakfast is equally distracting. However breakfast is worth your attention. You are spoiled for choice. And with a full tummy you are ideally placed to go for one of the many spectacular walks. Given Katoomba's uncertain weather (for summer) it was nice to have the central heating, and an 'open fire ', robes to snuggle in and a warm bath. We are repeat visitors and would go again.
