We love the whole experience, we got the scenic pass with cable car, train/walk or cable return. The train was amazing steeps in the world ( we have been on the peak train HK) not as long thou. The view were amazing the staff etc. Get in early to avoid the crowds and choose a beautiful or rainy day.

“Not as fun as actual bush walking and pick a nice day to go”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

I went here as part of a tour. The price for entry was very reasonable.

The Skyway cable car was brilliant with nice glass floor sections to see below. The railway down to the walkway was easily the best part. It is the steepest railway in the world I'm lead to believe and was really exciting. To return back to the top you take a cablecar which provides more excellent views.

The part I liked the least was the walkway itself. I'm not a fan of walking through the forest on a platform a few metres up. I felt really disconnected from the amazing nature around us. Also they had recently put in pieces of 'artwork' near the walkways which completely detracted from the surrounds and weren't very good. Please remove them and let nature speak for itself.

Check the weather before you go. It was misty and cloudy when we went so took away from the experience slightly but I didn't mark it down for this as it's not their fault.

“Must do! You will have a lovely time”
Reviewed March 3, 2012

Just a great experience for anyone. No matter how young or old, everyone will enjoy, You can take a quick trip down the world's steepest railway which is a lot of fun and not scary. From there you can take some beautiful walks in the valleys of the blue mountains, and they vary depending on your ability, (eg you can do a ten minute walk or a 2 hour one!) Then to get back to the top you can take an amazing cable car ride, where you can just soak in the beauty of your surroundings or take the train back up OR if you can super fit you can walk on from there to Katoomba Falls. The staff were lovely and an extra touch was they had a great art exhibition on in the bush. Great way to spend an hour or so.

“Gum trees as far as the eye can see”
Reviewed March 1, 2012

IF you want to see a country before develoment, visit the Blue Mountains. From any of the beautiful lookouts, you can see Gum trees as far as the eye can see with no development. It is fantastic with lots of terrain and plants you will not see anyplace else in the world. Beautiful Lorikeets and roselles. (birds) You won't regret your trip to see the real Australia.

“Rollercoast into the rainforest”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

This is the second time I have visited Scenic World and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. Taking the steepest railway down into the rainforest is lots of fun. Everything is boardwalked so it is easy to get around and make your way through the different loops available. We were there while the Sculpture exhibition was on and it was fantastic. We took the cableway back and it was a good way to get a close up view of the three sisters.
Definitely recommend taking your friends and family here is you are visiting the blue mountains.
