We were led by Nathan in a small group to Empress Fall Canyon. Nathan was very friendly and supportive. Knowing that I was a first timer and a weak swimmer, Nathan guided me through every step of the way. The view was breath taking and our experience was unforgettable! I did not regret doing this. I highly recommend High n Wild. All the staff that we dealt with were very highly and helpful.

We went for the half day abseiling tour on 5th November 2014.
High N Wild are conveniently located within the YHA itself. We were quite fortunate to be in a group with 4 people (us and another couple) , which allowed a balance of rest in between descents and ensuring the instructor/guide was able to attend to each of us if need be.
Our guide, Tim, was fantastic. For most of us in the group, it was our first time trying abseiling. Tim was very confident and encouraging and ensured safety at all times. We progressed from basic techniques on smaller drops to the longest drop at 30 metres high. Definitely a breathtaking view! In general a fantastic experience!

We booked for a Super Jump Abseiling trip from 9am to 4pm. Season: end winter, early spring.
Guide: Ben

Many times, expectations over an internet booking would only go as far as what was written on the synopsis. When one has a good actual experience, especially on a trip categorised under “extreme sports”, it really is a great bonus. Other than the perfect weather we had, we had an excellent guide. Ben was a good balance between possession of know-how and the ability to coach and guide.

I’d echo your slogan: “feel the fear, but do it anyway”. The entire valley probably felt that vibe from me anyway. And for what it’s worth, we will jump at any opportunity to do it again. Pun intended.

I took the 'Canyoning' tour with 2 friends on 22nd September and it was just an incredibly good experience. If you are looking for an adventure then this tour is just right for you.

The water is damn cold in the canyon but the wet suits are keeping the important parts warm ;) and the last part is an 30 meter Abseil right in a water fall that is going out of the canyon. I thought about where you can do this in Europe and came to the conclusion that you can't.

The guides were excellent even though it has been the first tour for this season. You get the impression that they are very experienced and guide you calm through the tour.

My husband and I booked the half day mini abseil adventure on Monday 22nd September and when we arrived we changed it to the full day canyoning. Extremely happy that we did! We had an awesome day and both experienced challenges, sensational views and fun! Both our guides were friendly, professional and supportive. It was clear that the guides knew their stuff and that gave us the confidence to participate! This experience (our first of this type) has us wondering why we didn't do it years ago!
