“A new asset in Katoomba”

What can I say about this Centre? Interesting, Informative and Entertaining. Consisting of an Art Gallery, Library and Coffee shop. It also has a large open area looking over the southern Car park of Target and soon to be built Woolworths and Big W. As you look over these buildings you can see Mt Solitary and the distant Wild Dog Mountains. Worth a Visit. You can get a parking spot in the new Coles underground car park and catch a lift up to the center.

“Katoomba Cutural Centre”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

We spent a happy misty, drizzly afternoon there: browsing and enjoying the Ranamok Exhibition. Later we sat in the library, using free wifi and relaxing in the comfy chairs, before we went off for some scones in the Paragon Café.

“A real cultural experience!”

Busy but quick and delightful, some might even say, cheap and cheerful. Good service, plain and simple , no nonsense, affordable fare. Great coffee!

“A-m-a-z-i-n-g ! Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

We thought we would take a quick day trip to Katoomba and surrounds...and then we found the BM Cultural Centre! We were totally amazed from the time we stepped in the front doors with just a $5 fee. The architecture alone is wonderful, the location and outlook just true Blue Mountains style! Then the absolute and extraordinarily beautiful film footage of the Blue Mountains in the Cultural Centre's World Heritage Interpretive Exhibition. Please take the time to make several visits. We have promised ourselves to make a trip again in a few months time. Stay at The Carrington Hotel..we did........its just next door!!! I would move to the BM's yesterday!!!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

It's a new tourist attraction to Katoomba and well worth the visit. It's just down from the Carrington and you can go outside on a landing and look over the valley and the town. Inside is a very modern look at the history and special attributes of the mountains as well as a modern art gallery.
