“Quiet and comfortable place to relax in”
Reviewed May 5, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

ATELIER is a comfortable and quiet place conveniently tucked away 2 streets behind the Katoomba high street. It is close to public transport to popular places and bush walking trails.

The place is well furnished and has everything you need for a holiday house, and I loved the way it opens up to the garden outside.

It was really nice of Michael to provide Tea, Coffee and Milk, and the Tim Tam was a very nice touch!

I'd recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay at a comfortable, quiet and convenient place at Katoomba.

Atelier is absolutely beautiful. Huge windows look onto a lush green garden. Very comfortable open plan lounge area and kitchen which is perfect to cook light meals. High ceilings make it feel light and airy. Designed beautifully, gorgeous lighting and top quality furnishings. The loft is stunning with a giant comfy bed and a view out of the windows when you wake up in the morning. It was raining while we were there and Atelier felt warm and cosy. I imagine in winter the open fire would be lovely. Went for 6am walks in the fog which was magical. The bathroom is large and luxurious, the spa bath is just fantastic. Everything was absolutely clean and felt very new. Thankyou for the stay, we had a wonderful time! The pictures don't do it justice, Atelier is a gem.

Liked best: The high ceilings and giant windows give Atelier a light and airy feel.
Liked least: An umbrella over the outside table and chairs would have been good as it was raining while we were there.

We had a wonderful time staying at Atelier, the place was great and felt very private and was easily accessible from the road with your own pathway.
With the weather being quite wet, cold and windy it was wonderful to have the fireplace and spa and the space to settle in. The candles were a lovely addition which added some extra mood lighting when enjoying the spa.
all of the information provided by Michael with recommendations and advice for the area was extremely helpful and we visited many of the restaurants and coffee places and were pleased.
Thank you for a lovely weekend.

“Perfect, Cosy and Comfortable”

Staying at Atelier was really nice. Cosy and comfortable when we were in the unit, and very happy to come home after a long hiking day and sit in the spa bath.
All up to date electrical equipment i.e. Television, stereo and most importantly WIFI for those that can't live without it. Gas cooking and kitchen size was perfect. Great view from the upstairs window and cute little garden to walk through to get to the front door. Impressive :-)
Didn't want to go, could have stayed longer quite easily.

“Fantastic Getaway Location”

My husband and I stayed at Atelier for our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was lovely, modern and clean. It is situated in a very handy location to all of Katoomba's attractions and many brochures were available to help us select places to visit and recommendations on where to dine. The fireplace was a lovely touch to help keep the cool nights toasty warm. Would not hesitate to stay at Atelier again.
