“The only cinema in the area”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Understaffed, usually dirty and at night it's rare for the take away coffee stall to be open. However, when you have nothing else to do it's the only cinema for miles.

“Some issues”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

We arrived on Saturday, but they were having technical and staffing problems and were turned away. The place is a mess and has only just been upgraded to digital.
Went back and saw a movie on Sunday, but the whole experience is just so so.

“No longer shows the free show on blue mountains”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

We were told to see the free show about the blue mountains before going to the three sisters. Apparently this tourist film is NO longer playing. The Edge Cinema is now just a big theatre.
What tourist wants to go to a show when there is so much to do at the Blue Mountains attractions?

“Terrible picture quality”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this cinema on the October long weekend with my son to see Madagascar 3. Although the cinema has a huge screen, the movie only took up half the screen! The edges of the movie were shadowy and the screen flickered. Ticket prices were expensive and there are no cup holders in the seats which is just ridiculous in my opinion. I won't be going back.

“Barn of a place, but good value”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Easy to access, film options wide ranging, not what you'd call a cosy place, but does the job. Parking and price both good, worth a visit if the weather keeps you indoors during a mountain stay.
