We were tired from a mountain day. Greeted by a friendly face and made to feel welcome we ordered pizza , all good, and were given a half a bottle of wine following our ordered bottle because it was there. Lovely easy experience!

This Italian restaurant is way too overated. We had 2 pizzas for dinner today and they were nothing like what we expected: tasteless and dry. The quality of the ingredients was very low. The service was kind but too slow. I wouldn' t come back here.

The decor is a bit daggy but the hand made pizzas are amazing.
We had the 7 cheese pizza, a different flavour in every mouthful and i'm sure i could actually feel my arteries hardening with each bite, also has a decent wine list with very little mark-up.
Well worth a visit.

Katoomba was an absolute ghost town after 5pm. We wandered around all over town, only to find that most restaurants had closed. Finally, on our way back to the train station after planning on heading back to Sydney, we stumbled upon this small Italian restaurant. They had a sign out their door stating that all their pastas were $15. With the lack of other restaurants and the great price we said why not?

We were greeted by a very friendly man who i presumed was one of the owners of the restaurant. The place is super cozy and felt very Italian. We felt like we were in someone's kitchen in Italy.

I ordered the pasta with tasmanian salmon which was delicious! My husband ordered the gnocchi which he said was fabulous as well. The quality was superb and the chef brings out the dishes herself. We got the impression that this was a family business and that the chef and waiter were the husband and wife team.

At $15 a person, this was an absolute awesome meal that I would have paid a lot more for! What a pleasant surprise. With such a great location right by the train station and being a tourist town, I applaud this restaurant for making delicious food and offering it at a great price. Most other restaurants would serve mediocre food at exorbitant prices knowing that many customers will be one-timers only. For this, they get 5 stars.

We wandered across this restaurant tonight and were drawn in by the menu. We ordered a gnocci dish and pizza 'strezza'. In six words or less... you have to try the gnocci... we love good gnocci and this gnocci was Divine! The pizza was delicious and fresh, and the owner came out and personally advised us on the wines (which were delicious). Wait staff are very friendly and we enjoyed the Italian music. Definately a restaurant we are recommending to friends.
