“Best activity I did in Oz!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

We went canyoning at Empress Falls with BMAC and had an amazing time. It's one of the most exciting things I've ever done, the scenery was fantastic and our guide made us feel very safe. The equipment was extremely good, with other companies I find that they give you poor quality wetsuits etc but BMAC gave me a well-fitting, warm wetsuit as well as all the necessary safety equipment.

We went there when many of the NSW national parks were closed due to extreme weather, therefore BMAC went out of their way to re-arrange our tour, making sure we didn't miss out.

We've already recommended this company to friends.

Thanks for the review, really appreciated. We're glad that, despite the National Parks closures, we were able to give you a great adventure.
Thanks also for the feedback about the equipment, we'll try and keep the high standards up.
Cheers

“Canyoning - Empress Waterfalls”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Great adventure!

It was well organized and super fun, however at times I felt a bit like a child, every little detail as small as how to pack your bagpack was explained to you - but maybe that is the Aussie way?

The canyoning walk/experience could have been a little longer, it was extremely beautiful.

Hi Judith
Thanks for your feedback, we'll definitely take that on board. If you have an opportunity to email the office and let us know who the staff member was on the day we can follow up directly - a great opportunity for us to improve on what we do.
Empress Canyon is only a half day adventure, if you are keen for a longer time adventuring in the canyon water or the wilderness then maybe check out one of our full day intermediate experiences like Serendipity Canyon. I sincerely hope we get to see you again!
Cheers

“Canyoning is Incredible Fun!”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

I went canyoning at Empress Falls with 3 friends in December 2012 and we had the time of our lives!
We did an introductory course, so we spent from 8am-ish until lunchtime learning to abseil at Mount Bruce. Abseiling is great once you get the hang of it (whihc doesn't take long!)
Our two guides (who were fantastic, by the way!) laid out salads, meats & bread rolls for us to have for lunch.
Then we headed to Empress Falls, walked down into the canyon, donned our wetsuits, helmets and harnesses & we were off into the very cold waters.
We spent about an hour jumping, swimming, hopping, diving, paddling & climbing our way through the canyons.... finished off with a huge 30-ish m abseil down a waterfall!
It was a fantastic experience & I'll definitely be going back again! :)

Thanks MissKris.
Abseiling in the morning at Mt Boyce (not Bruce!) is a great warm up to the waterfall in the afternoon, and we're glad you enjoyed it. We sincerely do hope to see you again.

Fantastic to hear, thanks. Courtney and Rhys are great and we're glad to have them. We hope to see you for another adventure sometime. One of my favourites is Sheep Dip and Rocky Creek - stupid amounts of fun!

“Great day out - Sen”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Everything about the day was excellent. Everyone met at the Katoomba office, completed some quick paperwork, got their wetsuit fitted, made lunch, packed a bag and then had a chat about the day. It was a 40 min drive to where we began the day near the Serendipity Canyon [which was a 30 min walk]. The guides were very helpful and ensured that everyone had a great day out. The views were break taking, as was the water in some places! I would highly recommend BMAC and the serendipity canyon.
