Reviewed July 14, 2013

We ate here twice over the weekend and were not disappointed with the food or service!
Great atmosphere, yummy hearty meals and cold beers!
Cozy place to spend a couple of hours out of the weather.

“Great pub with a top atmosphere.”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

Very atmospheric old school country pub. Great place to have a drink especially because of the proper beers like 2 different James Squires and Guiness on tap and the rubbish like VB and Tooheys New relegated to the fridge in bottles! Great music. Very friendly service. We had a meal in the bar not the restaurant which was not amazing but for the price was still OK.

“A must for lunch or dinner”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

A beautiful pub, which has kept the old world charm. Downstairs is the bar, and tables. Upstairs is the restaurant, great for families.
Thought definitely more atmosphere downstairs. We enjoyed the pizza's, beef pie. It s casual , but just what you feel like after a long day touring the Mountains.

“An unruly experience and somewhat scary.”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

We ventured to the Old Bank on a taxi drivers advice. Once seated it all seemed nice enough,if somewhat busy. The menu had something on it for most in our group of 6 adults, 3 couples. Entrees came out fast and were good and mains took a lot longer including a lost order for a pizza but these things happen. What destroyed the night was the table of kids next to us aged between 10 to 16. They were seated next to a table of their parents. One of these little angels decided it was a great game to bang a heavy glass constantly on the table. After about 5 minutes of this, one of the ladies on our table as him to stop doing it. From that point the little angels drove us mad with banging things, glaring, general abuse clearly because someone dared to ask him to stop. All he while the parents also glared and couldn't see what the problem was.On and on it went until all the customers in the whole upstairs were getting drove mad. But at NO point did any of the staff ask them to either cease or leave.
Upon receipt of our food, we ate then left before someone got belted. As we rose to leave the hollar and whoop whoops went up and we basically got clapped out as if we were the ones in the wrong. Again, no staff pulled them into gear. They must be locals, what was also dissappointing is that Greeks usually keep their kids in check but not this lot.Food was reasonable, crowd control was non existant.Pity
