great relaxing place to relax and chat with great food and atmosphere. The mains are really good, the serving sizes good and are great value. Pizzas are fantastic as well and the wine list not large but has enough to impress.

“Wonderful food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

Blue Mountains are amazing and so is this restaurant. One of the only few places open on a Monday night and without a booking we jagged a table. Went at about 7ish. Food and service was excellent and the building has been tastefully renovated and the young waiter went out of his way to answer questions and give us a fact sheet to read about the Carrington Hotel's history. Prawns to start were tasty and large serve for an entree. Rabbit ragu with pasta and gnocchi with blue cheese sauce and candied walnuts were both delicious. Great value for money. Sit upstairs if you can.

“Food poisoning”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I had lunch today ANZAC day. Food took about an hour to serve. OK they were busy. But tonight I am suspecting food poisoning from the burger I had. Not sure if it is the meat patie or staff heygein.

“Superb food, service & atmosphere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

Dined here on a Monday night after being recommended to me by the owner of the motel I was staying at.
So glad I did. The food was amazingly delicious and the service was impeccable. They also have an expansive wine list.
The prices are good and the place was busy, we left at 7:30pm and there was only 1 table free, even on a Monday night.
Will certainly be dining here again on my next trip to Katoomba.

“great food great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

after being recommended to us, my wife and i went there for a meal, from the outside it looks nothing special, the bar on the ground floor was the same, after climbing the stairs the restaurant was welcoming. We were seated by steve, he went through the beers for me and took his recomendation, which was quite nice, we ordered steak for our main course which was cooked to our perfection. Steve was a great host and easy to talk to, very informative to, would recommened a visit
