I stay here on my business travels, the rooms are very clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, (I fell asleep just lying on the bed resting before dinner, that's how comfortable they are). The air con was very quiet, the home cooked meal was amazing. The staff are freindly and helpful, I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who stays in Glen Inness.

I stay here very regularly and I love it. It has just bee taken over by new people and it's still the same - fabulous. Room is a good size. Beds and pillows are comfortable an the doona is filled with alpaca wool and is lovely. Bit dated bit that is too be expected in a small regional town. Food for dinner and breakfast is great. Highly recommend the gourmet meatballs. Have stayed in other motels in Glen Innes and this one wins hands down

Stayed one night on trip back home to Brisbane. Rooms smelt and looked very clean, comfortable queen bed, fluffy white towels, very nice home cooked dinner, and friendly lady in reception. Just what we were looking for after a long drive. It is on the main road but noise was not a problem.

We stayed overnight on the way to QLD in December 2011 in the 2 bedroom family room which is 2 rooms inter-connected with an internal door. There's one bathroom & table in the main room only, queen bed in the main and 2 single beds in the connecting room. Both have tvs (Foxtel), docking stations (with connectors for a variety of equipment), free wireless Internet. The connecting room has an external door which makes for easy access packing & unpacking but there is no way to stop children from unlocking it.

The motel is on the south edge of town and the night we stayed there we were told that there'd be no dinner service, which meant a trip into town. We left early the next morning and had breakfast in town.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room and grounds kept immaculate and our son enjoyed talking to the Alpacas before sleep. Completely out of the staff's control, we woke to a strange sound (like the main door being opened) at about 5am & rose to discover the door was open. We had the chain lock on so it stopped the door opening any further. We notified staff upon checkout who said they'd follow-up.

Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit that was really two units with interconnecting doors, sharing one bathroom. Only one wardrobe is present in the unit that also has the ensuite bathroom. There is free Wi-fi with good reception. It's clean and plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels are provided. A microwave would have been nice, however. The hostess is very friendly and helpful and there is a cute family of alpaccas at the rear of the property! A car is useful for going into the town centre as it is not quite in a central location.

We had travelled from Sydney on our way to Brisbane and thought we would stop at Glenn Innes (5.30pm and didn't want to drive any further for the day). From the time we walked in the door to see if a room was to be had, we were made to feel welcome.
The room we were given was spacious and CLEAN, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was on.
Vicki offered dinner which we readily accepted and again were not disapponted with either the portions or quality. Breakfast next morning - likewise.
On checkout had a lovely chat with Steve and felt as though I was saying goodbye to a friend.
We have already decided that we will return for the Celtic Festival next year.
A GREAT WELL DONE GUYS
