Three of us visited a new cafe in Forster today called "Little Lucifer". It has very casual but comfortable decor and is opposite Wallis Lake. We chose to order from the Tapas part of the menu and this proved to be a great decision for lunch. Each serving was delicious and the portions generous. As previous reviewers have said, the prawns with chocolate sauce were a delight. We decided to order them because it seemed a bizarre combination and therefore were intrigued as to what they would be like. We loved the combination. We also ordered plates of fried potatoes (which also included some sweet potatoes); flathead and finally squid. All were delicious and certainly left us feeling well fed.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming and went out of his way to be helpful and attentive to our needs. If only all cafe/restaurant owners realised that a pleasant, friendly attitude goes a long way with their customers.
As a local in the area, it is great to have "Little Lucifer" in Forster. It is different from the other cafes in that you can choose to have normal sized meals or order from the tapas menu for the added enjoyment of experiencing a variety of different tastes.
Having owned a renowned Sydney cafe/restaurant, I feel I am a fair judge of what makes a successful cafe. I am pleased to recommend this cafe to all those who want something a bit different.
