A Fish Called Coogee is always my option when looking for a healthy seafood meal. The price to be honest, is a little steep but worth it after your first taste.
Usually quite busy with customers waiting for their takeaway orders but you can always dine in and get a table at the front.
The Bok Choy and Corn on the cobs are great as a side to compliment any of the fish dishes that are marinated and cooked to your liking.
Getting hungry thinking about it!

The only place to go if you like fish. Not the cheapest but superb flavours. The lime and coriander barramundi was wonderful - we had it three times, though we also had excellent john dory and marinated calamari. Other good points: they don't charge for BYO, the salad and pak choi sides are generous and tasty and the atmosphere is always good - especially if you squeeze up on the pavement tables!

Barramundi, salmon, prawns, snapper, you name it, they have it. Order by the 100g weight, marinated in one of many delicious sauces - Thai, brazilian, vietensmese etc. Simple sides keep the focus squarely on the fish - fries, sweetcorn, salad. Service is low key, tables are close together, ambience is functional but the FISH is FABULOUS.

When you enter this place you don't believe the food can be THAT GOOD! The place works like a fish market, where you can pick what you want, they charge you by the food's weight and prepared it right away! We got the tuna, scallops, prawns with garlic and a green salad whose name I can't remember, and everything was delicious! If you don't feel that's the right place, like I felt when getting in, trust me, you are in the right place and the food will amaze you!

We tried this place out based on the other reviews on Tripadvisor.

All the fish and seafood looked very fresh and appealing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a piece of barrumundi that was marinated and grilled- it was delicious, although we found it a little expensive for a casual fish and chip shop. You can choose a piece of raw fish and they weigh it for you and you pay by weight. The barrumundi was $55 a kilo- so a small piece of fish cost us $20 then you have to pay for sides e.g. salad was $7, chips, corn etc.

Corkage is free which is a plus.
