My Mum and I stayed 3 nights in a two bedroom appartment. I knew things were going to work out well when I received a call to find out whether the rooms were to be set up as singles or remain as kings. We requested a room with a good view and came up trumps. Thank you for taking our request into consideration, although I am sure that there are no "poor" views on the property as all rooms appear very well positioned. Explanation of features and services at check in was exceptional, as was the service at the restaurant. Breakfast was lovely, much, much prefer a'la carte on offe to buffet so were very happy with the selection especially the smoked salmon and baked beans. Golf buggy travel to the room was appreciated but we opted at the end to face the challenge of the hill and it really wasn't that bad. We experienced breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service, all were great, I recommend a cocktail by the pool, a visit or two to the Endota Spa and the fish tacos for lunch. Book ahead for the spa as they appear to book out. Every single person we dealt with at the resort was lovely. I am now looking for another Peppers to visit this year to another Qld location but would certainly come back to Peppers Coral Coast. The only thing I would like to see if a "specials" menu for lunch and dinner to mix the menu up a bit. This establishment would suit singles, couples, families and friends groups. Stay as long as you can as our 3 days flew, wished we could have stayed longer :)

Room Tip: We stayed in room 333, the view was exceptional, Mum slept better with less noise in the front room...

Dear Serenityisnow,

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience with us. It was a pleasure to accommodate you and I am pleased we were able to provide you and your mum an enjoyable holiday. You did experience all things available at the property besides our golf buggy service up the hill, most people will try take on our hill at least once during their stay and when using the boardwalk does make it easier! I have passed on your feedback to all staff and also our chef regarding the lunch/dinner special.
We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Kind Regards

My wife and I were looking for a relaxed week away and found a package that included this resort and a couple of day trips out to the barrier reef. The service there was excellent. The room looked amazing and was very clean.

The weather this time of year is perfect. Not a drop of rain while we were there and nice cool nights for sleeping. Be aware that these apartments are on a VERY steep hill. If you are not great at hill climbing I would recommend calling the hotel reception when you get to the bottom of the hill and asking them to send the golf buggy down. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main street from the hotel.

The breakfasts in the morning were good. There is no buffet, rather you can order one item off the a-le-cart menu.

The only thing under the hotels control that could be improved upon was the bed. Instead of a king bed, it was two single beds pushed togethor which made it quite uncomfortable if you strayed from your side.

There was a wide selection of places to eat nearby. Two good places were Mangrove Jacks on the main streen for the wood oven pizzas and Denmans on the ground floor of the half finished marina apartment building for the very extensive beer selection. (Over 300)

This was our second stay at Peppers Coral Coast.

The service at check in was fast, efficient and friendly. We had a room which was located above the Reception. The views were good and the room was well appointed although I think that the cleanliness was not as good as our first stay, with dust on the tv and the tapware had soap scum and fingerprints.

The shower was a challenging as the water only came out of the holes on the outside of the nozzle but the spa more than made up for any shortcomings of the shower.

Unfortunately there was a wedding reception happening next to the Hotel Reception and the noise echoed up so that it sounded like we were at the reception. Fortunately, the reception stopped at an reasonable hour (10:30 ish) so a good night's sleep was had.

We did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on the food and service.

We picked this for a child-free weekend and loved every thing about this hotel. It was tranquil with expansive balconies and ocean views, not to mention the huge spa bath we had in our room! There was also a little kitchenette so we could cook for ourselves of we wanted, but the food we had from the restaurant was delicious and not overly expensive especially considering the quality.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Pro: Exceptionally pleasant staff, high commanding view, expansive balconies, quality towels.
Con: Open air eating only, ( draughty dinners and breezy breakfasts: probably ok 10 months of the year, except cyclone season ), soiled room lounges, ( cream is not a good colour for the purpose ): accepted 6th room viewed after sheet placed over lounge, only cooling in rooms, ( cotton robes helped but no heat ), b/fast included: only one item off menu each: I get the fruit, wife has the eggs! Coffee: dreadful. Like the good coffee or eggs it will cost you extra. ( Duty Mngr fixed this as we were ready to go elsewhere, but still no heat ). Main bathroom: spa bath would accom. family of 6 easily: no room left for useful vanity. Highly impractical and a huge cost to heat/fill. Both showers allowed significant spray outside their recess. Area around pool is small: crowded with a dozen people. One umbrella at pool, ( second one missing ). Pool lounge covers all badly soiled. Main bedroom bed: unusually firm, join evident in centre. Housekeeping had to be asked to remove old food/coffee stains from coffee table legs. Cockroach droppings on sliding door to second toilet and area around second bathroom. External wood stairs down to road had sections with missing stainless steel cable, ( to ensure guests remained on stairs and landing, should they fall ). No gym. Significant bird droppings evident at all balconies viewed. 'Boathouse' by Outrigger a far better proposition and closer to town.
