“poor management, very overpriced, small portions, never again”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

Food portions were tiny and extremely overpriced.
French waitress was absolutely useless.
Management seems to be very poor and unorganised.
Many people seemed unhappy in the restaurant.
Would not come back or recommend this restaurant

“Vietnamese your kidding”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Not sure what this establishment is, is it a Vietnamese eating house or some kind of old blokes bar.
Food less than expected and certainly over priced. Not sure if it lives up to its name food wise it's definitely not the street vendor food we enjoyed so much whilst in Vietnam. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be Vietnamese or Vietnamese influenced but wish they would make up their mind. I wouldn't eat there again sorry but it's just not up to it and a waste of money.
The bar thing out the back looks more like bowls club members bar, no atmosphere at all and just uncomfortable feeling.

“Nice Vietnamese food with good flavours”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

Nice food with great flavors however portions were very small. I am slim and only eat small portions however even for me way to small.
Shame most things on the menu were 'coming soon'
The flavors were great tasting though And had some fish like something I had never tasted before was delicious.

“disappointed at increased prices”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

Great food, but way far too expensive now. On opening a couple of weeks ago, prices were reasonable, but now outpriced. I will not be eating here again.

“New in Airlie Beach”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Airlie Beach has a wide range of good restaurants but no Vietnamese. We visited with a group of friends on a busy Saturday night, just days after the restaurant opened.

Staff were understandably still getting to grips with the systems, so service will improve quickly.
Our group of 10 arrived at peak trading time and the restaurant was crowded.

We ordered drinks at the bar and were quickly seated and we left it to our waiter to introduce and choose entree and main course meals for the table.

I was surprised to see the entrees arrive quickly.

All the food was tasty and having visited Vietnam I am satisfied that it is not "Western" Vietnamese, but the real deal, with typical subtle delicate flavours. The total food bill for our "banquet" was $30 per head plus drinks (no BYO).

We all enjoyed the night and will return - can't wait until they introduce Vietnamese Hotpot.

Well done Mai and Tony!
