The owners, Stuart & Lisa, made booking by email easy and they were friendly and helpful on our arrival. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and had a wonderful view of the marina where most of the boats left for the reef and islands. Each apartment had its own small balcony area from where you can enjoy the view whilst eating breakfast and often be entertained by kookaburras and cockatoos. The pool is small but very clean and refreshing after climbing up Airlie Crescent. Although the hill is steep it is only a short distance from the lagoon, main town shops and pubs, so unless you have a car be prepared for a bit of a climb...but those views are worth it!

Stayed here for three nights total while in Airlie. We were away for a few nights on a sailing trip and Stuart very kindly looked after our excess baggage for us. We stayed in a medium studio for the first night and then on our return after the boat we had a small studio but quite honestly it was hard to tell the difference since they were both quite spacious and had the same lovely view.

Inside the apartments are modern and clean and the aircon was really good. Somehow one cockroach and one gecko managed to find their way into the apartment one evening. Still not sure how they got in but the gecko was particularly hard to get out - those things are fast! However it seemed to me that the hotel did everything possible to keep out creepy crawlies (i.e by keeping the place spotless, having screens on all windows etc) considering their location in tropical north Queensland!

The pool is small but since there are very few apartments each time we used it, we had it to ourselves! The apartments are on top of a steep hill and the climb up can be tough in the afternoon sun. However the elevated location gives the apartments the great view and protects them from the noise of the busy street (and backpackers hostels) in Airlie. The walk to restaurants, cafes and the lagoon was only 5-10 minutes so was perfect.

For the price ($88 a night) this has to be one the best deals in Airlie. I would recommend these apartments to fellow travellers and I would definitely stay there again.

We were referred here by one of the travel agencies downtown and couldn't believe our luck. We selected a large spacious studio with a wonderful ocean view. The place is absolutely immaculate and very tastefully decorated - white and taupe. Our unit had an elevated kitchen & bathroom - so one has to be a bit careful if going to the loo in the middle of the night, as the stairs & floors are ceramic tile. We had checked out a small studio & I think it was all on one level. We also had lovely cushioned rattan chairs in the suite, plus a great patio area with table, chairs and a lounge. Large fluffy towels were provided for the pool which, while small, was most refreshing and very welcome, as it was rather humid during our visit. There's a super-clean & cheap laundry on site , clothesline out back, also a BBQ.
Stuart is a great host - very personable and friendly and anxious to ensure everything is OK. He is also able to book your tours. We took a very enjoyable sunset cruise.
We had a car, so the very steep hill was no problem. Airlie Beach has a fantastic lagoon which we enjoyed during the day. We also ate downtown every night but the place does get rather noisy so it was wonderful to come back to our beautiful quiet apartment.

We stayed here two nights after getting off of our Whitsunday cruise. What an absolute pleasure. The hotel was impeccably clean, and Stuart, who runs things around here, was extremely nice. The pool area is small, but both days nobody else seemed to be around, so we had the pool to ourselves. The ownership and staff here obviously put a lot of care into this property and it shows. I think we paid around $90 for each night, and for Airlie Beach, this is an absolute bargain for what you get. The one downfall is that the hotel is up a steep hill from the main strip of Airlie Beach (5 minute walk away), but this didn't bother us one bit. We stayed here because it was the best bargain, but even if we had more money to spend the next time we go to this area, I would stay here again.

It is on the top of a hill. However, it is not hard to get it! The hosts are very helpful. Stuart even checked for me whether the road is closed during the storm. The room are clean with great view of the harbor. All in all, I stayed there for three nights and hardly to say goodbye. If next time to vist airline beach, I will denifitely choose this place again!

This is definitely the best deal in Airlie Beach. The photos on their website don't look overly impressive but we trusted the reviews here and went for it anyway. The place is absolutely great, clean, white, fresh and spacious. We had a small studio (which was really quite large) between three of us and found it to be more than adequate. It had a fridge, very large bathroom, tv and superb view over the harbour and islands. Its also a nice small quiet complex so you won't be disturbed if just looking for a relaxing break. The action is just down the hill on the Main Street. The hill upto the apartments is small but it is quite steep so if you won't be using a car I wouldn't recommend it for less mobile people or parents with very small infants who would need to be pushed up the hill in a stroller. It really is good value, and is everything you will want to enjoy your holiday in the Whitsundays.

We stayed here for 7 nights in a large studio room. We had looked at the reviews on this site before booking and it was even better than we expected. The room was quiet, spacious, spotless (looks like it had recently been refurbished) and had everything we needed and the views are wonderful. It is probably the best location in Airlie Beach as it is away from the noise yet very convenient to shops, restaurants, the marina (via shortcut at end of Airlie Cres), etc. The owners are efficient, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Although there is a bit of a steep hill, the great views and tranquility make it well worthwhile. All in all, great value!
