“Boring and not much to see”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Boring walk probably made worse by the Marina renovation works in progress. There are more pleasant walks in Airlie Beach

“Fabulous views of the ocean”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

This is a great walway and it is a good idea to park your car at the marina car park (8 dollars for 24 hours) and take the walk into the main street. The ocean views are stunning.

“a WAlk to remember”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

Not too long or short. Very pleasant. There is a small reddish coloured dyke cutting through layers of tuff and running down towards theshore. We found a sprouting coconut on our walk, which is a first!

“Walkway to peace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

Hugging the shores of the beautiful Coral Sea, the Bicentennial Boardwalk winds along the coastal strip for some 3.7 kms between the Sailing Club, through Airlie Beach Lagoon, Shingley Beach to Cannonvale Beach.

The Bicentennial Boardwalk passes many accommodation properties and winds past Abel Point Marina, one of the main staging points for cruises to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.

The walkway has become a fitness trail for some or just a leisurely and safe walk way for others.

Delightful at sunrise and sunset.
