“Nice spot to stay in Airlie Beach!”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

We stayed one night in this B&B and it as really nice. Our accomodation had a lot of space, it was very clean and the view was great. The Airlie Beach lagoon (sea water bath were you can swim also during the jellyfish seasons) is next door. As we booked our room without breakfast, we can not say anything about this (but you can order breakfast there, too). But there are all things provided in the room so that you can prepare your breakfast on your own. Our host Mandy was very friendly and helpful. In summary: you feel very welcome and comfortable in this B&B plus you have the best view in Airlie Beach!!! :)

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights from 27th August 2012. We travelled from Brisbane to Cairns staying in lots of different motels/hotels along the way and this by far was the best accommodation we stopped at. The location was fantastic and it was so comfortable and spotlessly clean and to top it off we had free wi-fi and a hot tub! Chem was so helpful and friendly, a lot of the reception staff at other hotels could take a leaf out of her book for her level of customer service was impeccable. We had a fantastic sea view from our room and we loved the breakfast that was provided for us in the fridge in our apartment. It was nice to get up and have breakfast whenever you felt like it without having a time limit on it. We booked a boat trip to the Whitsunday islands on the 'Camira' this came recommended by Chem and I'm so glad we took her advise because this trip was fantastic, the staff on the boat were very friendly and welcoming and the food onboard was delicious. The Whitsunday islands were just magical and well worth a visit. For anyone that is thinking of travelling to Airlie beach, this is definitely the place to stay. I could not recommend it highly enough, it really helped make our trip a truly wonderful experience and we have the best memories to cherish forever of our time there. Worth every penny!

What a terrific review. Chem is away on a well earned break, but we will let her know about your lovely comments on her return.
She spoke very highly of you when we arrived, and she will really appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks again, and safe travels - Mandy & Steve

Do yourself a favour and stay here.
The accommodation is amazing, spotlessly clean and great breakfast provisions included in the price, which means you can prepare your breakfast whenever you like and take in the fantastic views while you eat.
Chem is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
She was very happy to suggest places to have dinner, and the restaurant we chose was just a 5 min walk along the boardwalk
The B&B is really central, 2 minutes walk to the lagoon and main street and 5 mins. walk to the marina.
We will certainly go back when we can and can't recommend Airlie Waterfront B&B highly enough
Thank you for sharing your magnificent home with us.

We were a group of 3, so we booked a room for 3, but got a full apartment: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a large living room with sea view. All very tastefull, spacious and spotless clean. Our hostess, Chem, gave us a warm welcome and helped with booking local tours. It was a wonderfull place to stay in Arlie Beach, plus it was walking distance to the main street and all the restaurants and shops.

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Chem, Mandy and Steve at Airlie Waterfront B&B. The room and service were impeccable and the convenience of booking other activities on site was an absolute bonus. We will definitely be back.

What an awesome place and wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Great place to relax and unwind. Even while sailing around the beautiful Whitsunday islands we were looking forward to returning to the B&B’ spa apartment to relax in the hot tub sipping the complimentary champagne. Ideal location – quiet with great views but still only 5 minutes from the main centre.

This is not your average B&B! Our only regret was the limited time we had here. We spent 1 night in the Spa Suite and 1 night a week later in the 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment. Both suites were spotless, spacious and well appointed with sea views from the living area and balcony.
The spa suite came with a bottle of champagne and a body wash & body butter toiletries pack.

Breakfast came with the rooms and the fridge and cabinets were well stocked with eggs, bread, jam, butter, vegemite, juice, milk, water, coffee, cereal, yogurt, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, toaster, kettle etc. They also have Austar!

Chem, who runs the place was very helpful, made us feel very welcome and also recommended a fabulous morrocan restaurant at the Boathouse! She let us leave our suitcase with her while we went on our sailing and bareboat charter trips, helped with booking transport.

The place is at a great location, in between the main downtown part of Airlie beach (5 min walk) and the Abel Point Marina - north roundabout (5 miin walk). The bed and sofa were so comfortable we had to tear ourselves away to get food (but if you are really lazy there are pamphlets for food deliveries in the room).

If you are looking for a change of pace and can live without 24 hour room service then this is a great alternative. Each suite has its own private entry and facilities... we can't reccomend this any higher and will certainly be back.
