Clean rooms and a wide variety of things to do. Bus stop right outside to bring you into the town centre for $3.60 which also includes the return (for 2 hours). Cooking areas also very good/clean. All in all a great place to stay 😁

This park is designed to entertain the whole family from the jumping pillow park and the water fun park to a small spa for those that want to relax. The park has 3 camp kitchens all very well equiped including an oven. The amenities are ample to meet the needs of such a big park.

Discovery Parks - Airlie Beach is away from the mainstream Airlie touristy area.
My daughter & I stayed for 3 nights, got a superior 1 bedroom cabin, was expecting the bunk beds as shown in the pictures, But got the fold out couch bed, the mattress was very thin & it was very uncomfortable for my daughter, we put the 2 cushions down as padding.
The cabin was very modern and clean inside, cooking appliances were new but stove top was a bit tricky to operate. TV in lounge was big & both TV’s were able to play the USB devices. Although the TV in room had no digital TV reception.
The front of cabin had a high reed garden which had lots of rubbish in it.
Cabin was on the main road through the caravan park so lots of people walking, riding bikes and scooters past to the pool area or play room.
The park has several community kitchens so cooking is easily accessible.
Pool area is heavily gardened with the bird feeding area next to it. The pool is large and deep with a slide which is a lot of fun for the kids.
The pictures on website show you all the good stuff but not the areas that are in disrepair, some of the the rocks and tiles around the pool are broken and as with water there is a lot of pooling water with mould buildup around the back areas and on wooden slide ladder.
There is a waterpark which from the pics looks great. But closer inspection shows again lots of mould and a lot of the holes for the sprays are blocked with rust.
The play area has a big bouncing air pillow, climbing fortress, sandpit and basketball court. Lots of hours of fun for the kids.
Overall for a caravan park our experience was enjoyable

Stayed as a family of 4 during the week on an off peak special. Park is quiet, clean and friendly. We managed to get one of the newly refurbished superior cabins and it was excellent. Think a lot of tired areas in the park are getting an upgrade. Not as obviously popular as the Big 4 but still has all the attractions for kids just on a smaller scale and honestly much better because we basically had it all to ourselves. Waterpark could use a little fix me up but still lots of fun to be had. Feeding the rainbow lorrikeets is a must do too.

Stayed in standard cabin #19 for 2 nights. Have stayed numerous times when the park was under BIG 4 and was always happy. Ran out of hot water every time we used the showers. The tv had limited channels and reception was poor. Cladding on front veranda had fallen off and nails were exposed (not safe for 2 children). The waterpark was always a hit but most of the features were not operating and the kids eyes were burning due to far too much chlorine in the pool. Unfortunately, we will not be staying again.
